Thank you. Been watching lots of videos, trying to get an idea, especially for stones without holes. You're the first person to mention a file and that was a big question for me - Thanks!
I watched thru this one time, clicked back to beginning after gathering my supplies. I have no ring gauge so I found a bottle top. I had it made in the 10 minutes you stated. No wire experience at all to speak of. Love it, Love the idea and the way you taught it. Thanks g
Thankyou for sharing this tutorial I am new to wire wrapping and I have a ton of left over beads from previous beading projects so now i have a way of using them so not wasted! Very pleased to have found a solution 🙂
Hi Adrianne, many thanks for the video, you expalin and speak so well. You made it so easy to follow and turn us all into an expert. Hope you have many more Videos available. Smiles from South Africa and warm greetings.
I’ve made rings like this before the trick where you rotate the ring mandrel is totally new to me and has blown my mind! I usually use my fingers to wrap the wire around the bead but this neat little way is so much easier! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your talent. Enjoyed very much. Did wire wrapping long time ago. Needed a refresher. You have helped tremendously. I now remember how much l loved to do it. Got to toughen up my fingers haha.
Many thanks sweet Adrianne Surian in sharing with me this magnificent video, magic, you are fantastic with your beautiful fingers. I adored your fantastic performance.
I’m pretty new to wire wrapping the rings but I am having a hard time with the actual wrap around the bead itself I used round beads. Could that be the problem?
Hi, I am a beginner at making rings but I like the craft. How do you stop or prevent the wires from twisting when you are wrapping the sides near the bead. I have made two rings now and I find I keep doing this??
I saved tons of money by going through my husbands tools looking for a starter kit for myself rather than to spend money on everything i needed for my wire wrap hobby! He welcomed me to go through what i felt i needed and got all the tools i needed then a fishing tackle box to keep all my things stored in one place! Needless to say my only cost is my wire types, beads, & my previous time making my jewelry pieces! Hope this helps all you beginners! Happy Crafting to all & good luck... Bridget
Hi Adrianne, I just started making jewelry & your tutorials are very helpful! quick question: how to you avoid marring/marking up the wire with the plyers? I bought Tool Magic & tried the painters tape trick...HELP! thanks, Sonia (:
did you polish your tools? are you just using them like they come from the supplier? theyre not finished at the factory thats left to the jeweler because the manufacturer knows jewelers like to mod their tools.
The beads I used in this video came from this bead kit: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002RSBGEW/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B002RSBGEW&linkCode=as2&tag=haphoupro-20&linkId=ODAL6XHP6F7CADYH It's a kit with all different sizes and shapes, in coordinated colors, which is a nice set for making up different kinds of projects. If you want to be choosy about the beads you use, I do also love Goody Beads for specialty beads and supplies. www.goodybeads.com/
Hello! What if I want the bead to sit the other direction? (vertical instead of horizontal) I've been making a few that way, but I'm just sort of making it work, and would love to see a tutorial on how to do it correctly.
Hey Siren, ideally you would want to use a bead that has the hole going through the sides of the beads instead of the ends. That way the bead would sit vertically on your finger and the wraps will still be at the sides. I have not tried this myself though.
