You can tell Kyle is eternally grateful for this. He basically refuses to take the credit. He wants the entire crew, his chief, Rick, Jeff, and everyone in the organization to know he couldn't have done any of this without him. I called it 4 years ago that he is going to do special things. I'm a Larson fan, and proud of it.

So happy for Kyle , he’s a true champion and he proved it by never giving up after the world crumbled around him , I supported him the entire time and I’ll forever be a Kyle Larson fan , plus he’s from dirt racing and dirt racing holds a place in my heart . Kyle asked Jeff if he was gonna be part of the champagne spray, Jeff said “ hell yeah I am “ lol champions amongst themselves 🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸

Which just shows how completely ridiculous this championship format is. You used to have to be the best driver across the entire season to win the championship. Then it switched to you just had to be the best in the last 10 races to win the championship. Now, neither of those are good enough. The fact that Larson won more races, stages, and led more laps in the playoffs alone than Truex did in the entire season yet he still almost lost the championship to Truex is just a complete joke. The championship shouldn't have even been remotely close.

Most people that were angry with him for saying it still realize that he didn't mean any harm by it and it was just a stupid thing to do. Thats why no one, even the left, is upset at him being back in the sport this year.
