Wireless midi Review: the Roland WM-1 VS the CME Widi Master , and New Years Resolutions

Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Yes the Sonogenic can work with a wireless midi hook up, but I learned how to use the Bluetooth midi a bit later. When I use my Sonogenic now I turn on the wireless midi and sync it with my phone and the Garage Band app. Have a happy and healthy new year! Keytar is life🎹🎸🤟

I’m so shocked! Maybe it’s defective or incompatible with that synth. I’d either return it or try it with another piece of equipment before I return it. Sorry to hear that. I know those can be expensive brand new. Good luck and sorry for the trouble. I recently bought a TC Electronic Chorus pedal brand new and it makes a popping sound. I can’t use it now and I’m so pissed off about it because I discovered it in an unboxing video, but never finished the video because I can’t solve how to stop the popping sounds. @@Jellybeantiger so sorry again. I’d return your Widi Master if you still can. I do know there’s an app on I phone that will reset your widi master. I used it on mine because it kept getting the signal from another company’s wireless midi system. The app is called “Widi” and has a wireless Bluetooth symbol on it. Maybe it will help. It resets your Widi master via your Bluetooth on your IPhone. Maybe it will help. Again sorry you are having trouble.

Honestly don’t know the answer to that. They have a great range, but in a live setting with multiple cell phones, etc signals they might get staticky. Best to do the sound check with the equipment first to be sure and have a backup of cables plugged into your sound system/snake etc.

@@KeytarKris Thanks for the reply :). I will put these things to a test next Saturday and run around with it lol. My friend who plays a keytar did multiple gigs with them and he told me it was great haha

@@blank9870 - Have you used it on stage? Do you have them both? How well did they work? I’m pretty skeptical about using Bluetooth on stage.

Depends on your internet speed and what you are using. For IOS devices I suggest the Roland but for midi controller to synth I’d suggest the other
