to you all reviewers when you showing gramms between mechanic and the gs axxis you need also to take into consideration the grams you save from removing the cables.
Owned GX for a year. Bought XX1 today. Weight difference is negligible. The motor sounds different on the upshifts to easy gear. The fit and finish are clearly nicer on the XX1. Hopefully the carbon outer cage will hold up against flying debris. Swapped out the XX1 controller’s silver mounting piece for the GX’s all black. Selling GX soon. Oh yeah, replaced titanium hardware with oil slick Better Bolts. Bike was full GX drivetrain a year ago. Slowly upgraded to full XX1 today. However chainring is Absolute Black. I ride XC.
Great video thank you. I would recommend dropping the backing track once you start talking on future videos as its not to everyone's taste and gets annoying after a while.
@@FanatikBikeCo When you said that I was like "WTH?" why would SRAM be using MiniUSB in 2021. Then I found out they are using MicroUSB and still was like "WTH?". Haha, they should be using USB-C!
@@netposerx Tis true. In this case it's only used for charging, all firmware updates are done via bluetooth. I still have plenty of micro USB cables floating around the house, as I imagine many folks do (it does come with one also). And yea, thanks again for the correction!
Are the fixing bolts (the parts where the RD connects to the hanger) identical on all 3? Just wondering if all 3 have similar tight tolerances, reducing lateral play when installed.
