HEY GUYS! I hatedddd ending the video with an unsolved issue but I ran out of time. But I want to let you know I FIGURED IT OUT! The early jdm cars have a weird quark to them that I wasn’t aware of so an issue was being masked. I’ll explain it all in the next video 💪🏼

You know what man, this is actually a perfect example for us... because, in the real world you usually run into some kind of issue that makes it take longer 😎. What an awesome video for people trying to learn this stuff! The back feeding is probably because Nissan powers the relay 86 pins (relay coil power) with a constant 12v jumped off of the relay 30 pin. Currently re wiring a skyline and putting a link in it and changing the relay control to a switched 12v in my loom to remove back feeding issues. Hope this helps ✌️
I was on rt 5 in Wallingford nearby Jimmy's shop yesterday and saw a purple m3 with gold wheels drive by and I think to myself, wow that looks like Tommy's F80. I guess it was him after all!

check the alternator wiring. if the diodes in the alternator are bad or if its wired wrong it can cause a draw try unplugging the alternator plug and or pull the hot wire off the alternator

Link (and most other ECU companies) have different ecus for different engine sizes. For example, Jimmy used a MonsoonX which will do up to 4 cyl or 2 rotors. A StormX will do up to 8 cyl or 4 rotors.
Hey Jimmy! I need your help brother. I just pinned in a ECUMaster EMU Classic and I'm having trouble with it turning on when key is at ACC. when I turn key all the way to RUN, the ECU triggers on. I have my ECU Power supply on the +12v pin and ignition switch is in a IGN coil pin (ran out of AUX outputs). Am I missing something?? Easy....empty all of the epoxy tubes and hardenersinto a small zip lock bag, seal the bag and mix thoroughly, cut a small hole in a corner of the bag...squeeze......
Hey Jimmy, I am compelled to thank you for this video as most automotive RU-vidrs won't show you the problems and the solution afterwards ( except Rob van Damme, etc) to such a great lengths. I also had a ECU issues in which everyone would say "check the wiring..." So how can you check something if you don't see or know the possible issue?! Looking forward to the next vid to see what the issues was as it will give me and everyone one an idea of what to look out for. Thanks again!
Watched few Ur videos -- something alwayz seems to be stuffed whiten your U there...Ur mates LS-bmw through a rod/piston out of it I'm thinking the caning you gave it before dyno tune probably started the damage ...that oil put in motor looked like water before it was put in motor ... I'd sue you or drive car into your front window if you put that water looking viscosity oil in my motor dude...🤘😁🖕😜
Worth mentioning that Analog i/o are from 0 to 5v, including anywhere in-between, a variable signal. Digital i/o is either on or off, no in-between. It's either 0v or 5v - on or off. Or if your ecu can handle 12v inputs, then obv 0/12v.
You don't need a 6.0l crank. A 5.3l crank works. Same stroke. Should be alot easier to find. I'm assuming it's for bhall. I might even have one I can send to you.
If you don’t use the switch power from the eccs relay correctly it will back feed and hold power. If you disconnect battery and then hook back up it shuts off the relay. You need to just make sure that the relay is actually powering somthing.
I have a question about the a/c. Is the switch of a/c a digital input or an auxiliary output? This got me confused, how to wire my a/c switch to have a working a/c.
