I dropped-in unannounced on Nik and his team at Wirral Guns, and checked-out the new Reximex Ixia Compact, which Manager Nik is kindly going to lend me for impartial review ASAP.

Hello... hmm I can only compare or recommend rifles I've tried/reviewed, and I've only reviewed the Ixia (AKA Throne Gen.2) out of those three. I find the look of the Reximex Meta and the Regime interesting, and having previously reviewed the Mito-S pistol/carbine -I'm very tempted to invest in one of those as both a 10m PCP target pistol, and a garden plinker carbine. 🤓🎯 Thanks for watching, cheers. Was just about to ask a similar question as I need to decide between the Meta Plus or the Throne Gen 2. ( I don't know the Cuec). They have similar features and not sure if the interchangeable barrels is worth it but like the Camo look of one Gen 2 options, but at same time like the all alloy stock and monopod on the back of the Plus. Was originally wanting just the Meta but rethinking that. What did you decide as I'm waiting on them to be shipped to store I'm talking to? No doubt you have had the same trouble I have had trying to find reviews comparing the two?

Nice one, Russ. Wirral Guns is my favourite Airgun shop ever, and I'm 66. You were lucky to catch Nick actually in the shop, whenever I visit, he's always "on holiday" and poor Al is holding the fort. I've got a sneaky feeling in me bone that I'm going to be popping in to get meself one of the Ixia compacts, have a thorough look round the shop (with Nick watching my every move in case I break anything). Excellent vid, made in a top shop with a grand crew of lads. Next time you're in there, tell them Dodgy Barry sends his regards 👍🏻🎯

Is it ambidextrous? - specifically the cheekpiece? And is the trigger adjustable for pull weight please?

I'd say yes, although there is a small knob protruding on the right side (for barrel changing), which might be close to your cheek. I'm sure at least trigger pull weight will be adjustable, though looking in the user manual (my Flickr photo album is here: www.flickr.com/photos/150760461@N07/albums/72177720310707271/with/53139166865/) -I can't see that described. 🤔 Thanks for watching, cheers. You must of got them on a good day when you called went in to wirral guns a few weeks back. I would definitely not go back.

This is a Turkish-made £800 sidelever bullpup air rifle, that's absolutely nothing like a Wolverine R costing literally double that price... Specsavers perhaps? Thanks for watching... if not actually seeing. Cheers. Russ
