On the season 8 premiere of Wisconsin Foodie, we kick things off with the annual Wisconsin tradition that is the State Fair. For two weeks every year people flock out to Milwaukee, WI to get their fill of music, carnival rides, and of course, festival snacks.
Kyle Cherek and Jessica Bell take the fair by storm as they explore the annual Sporkie Awards, a competition to decide the best new State Fair food, the Wine Garden, which showcases some of the best in Wisconsin wines, and of course, no trip to the Wisconsin State Fair would be complete without getting our hands on some delicious cream puffs!

I only went to the Wisconsin State Fair once, in 2016, and I liked it, there was plenty of food to sample. Entertainment was good too, we saw Pentatonix perform, it was pretty cool.

i went to the fair as a kid back around 1982 and we got to try the cream puffs. I hated them, the cream isn't sweet! it was like eating whipped butter! I dont understand why they dont put sugar in the cream and no one says anything about this, im still dumb founded. Maybe because im from ohio and moved there when i was 12 years old till 18.

NOTHING at all about Mille's?!!? Or the Lion's Club roasted corn on the cob?!!? Both have been Fair fixtures for decades way before I was born. These city dweebs are so not Wisconsin. I want my 27 minutes back.
