Wiser is easy to install from app to thermostat. We've put together this video to guide you through the installation of the Wiser Multi-zone Kit. Other kits will vary, please refer to the in-box instructions.
Installing The HubR
* Turn off the mains power inside the house and remove your existing heating controller
(Make sure you only replace a 2-channel product with this kit. Otherwise, the wallplate will need to be re-wired)
* Attach the HubR to your existing wall plate, and turn the power on.
(If the wallplate requires wiring, please refer to the wiring instructions)
* Search for Wiser Heat in the App Store or Google Play and install the Wiser Home app on your phone
* Open your Wiser Home app and tap Setup / Create an account, then select the HubR
* Press the Setup button on the HubR, the green setup light will begin to flash, then tap next on the app
* Navigate to the Wi-Fi settings on your phone or tablet, and select the network called Wiser Heat
* Once connected, return to the Wiser Home app and tap next
Heating System Setup
* To begin the setup, select the fuel you use to heat your home
* Enter the number of room thermostats and radiator thermostats that you have, and tap next
* You can now assign thermostats to different rooms in your home
* Enter the name of the room in which the room thermostat will be placed
* Insert the batteries into the room thermostat, and press the “O” button to initiate the connection
* Position the room thermostat in the room using either the wall clip or table stand provided
* Assign your radiator thermostat to a room that you would like to control separately, for example, a bedroom
* Enter the name of the room in which the radiator thermostat will be placed
* Insert the batteries into the back of the radiator thermostat
* Twist and hold the cap in the “+” direction until the LED in the centre flashes green
* The central LED will show solid green and the other LEDs will flash red and blue once the radiator thermostat has been joined to the Heat Hub.
* Replace your existing TRV with the radiator thermostat
* Place the correct adaptor onto the valve, then add the metal ring nut and screw it on
* Screw the radiator thermostat onto the adaptor until tight
* Once installed, twist the cap in the - direction until the - LED flashes blue and valve calibration begins
* Repeat this process for your remaining radiator thermostat
* Follow the on-screen instruction to connect your home Wi-Fi
* Enter your information to create your wiser account
