Wish Isn't THAT Bad...Ya'll Overreacted

I truly was not listening to the lyrics the first time I heard it XD No but really, though, i may not care for Sofia the First's animation, but it's a fantastic show and MUCH more of a celebration of 100 years of Disney more than Wish imo. It references classic Disney movies, the Disney princesses with original voices show up (those who are alive), has amazing music, a great story, and is just fun overall. Imo, the movie isn’t the worst but with the expectation of the 100 year anniversary of Disney, the movie didn’t deliver. That’s why I think people hate it more than it really should be

ashas character annoyed me a lot tbh. I know people are annoyed about the “quirky protagonists” but all of them also have multiple other traits that make each stand out! asha just felt so empty… like a shell of a character after characters like rapunzel, moana and mirabel I feel like myself and many others expected a strong protagonist. Asha has no emotional pull, her family are background characters her friends are so irrelevant I don’t think anyone even remembers their names.

It's not bad, it's mediocre. That's why people are so mad. This is disney's 100th anniversary ad the film is just nothig. They also had such a good idea with the starboy and villain couple...

It isn't a terrible movie it was just boring in my opinion. 😞 Edit: Plus, Wish had so much potential. They were literally going to have a STAR BOY who was a love interest to Asha, and we could've had our first villain couple! Wasted potential. 😭

My biggest issue with Wish is that Asha was... actually pretty selfish. For the vast majority of the movie she was hiperfocused on granting her grandpa's wish, because she thought that it is cute for him to get his wish granted for his 100th birthday. Sure, she didn't wanted it for "herself", but for me wanting such things for your close relatives is selfish as well. She wanted to become Magnifico student only to make sure that her grandpa's wish will be granted - and if she hypotheticly did that, who else would be next? Her mom? Her friends? Anyone who is close to her? This makes her way worse wishmaker than Magnifico, who at least had his reasons to grant wishes and hadn't grant them for personal reasons. I don't like the vibe of nepo fairy, which Asha gives me. Sure, many Disney heroes and heroines have selfish reasons. E.g. Alladdin's reason was very selfish - he wanted Jasmine's love - but during his journey he learned that the most important is to be honest with who he is, and when he accepted it, he realized that this is who Jasmine loves. And Asha... as you said, she learn nothing. I'm not convinced whether she not be selfish anymore and grant wishes only to those who are close to her. I'm still not sure whether she fighted Magnifico at the end because she wanted to save everybody, or that he threaten her directly. Omg, I also have huge issues with last "this" in "This wish" song! It not only lays on the middle note - it is spoken, which makes it very off putting and terrible final note for this song. Ariana DeBose has such beautiful voice and she would be able to sing beautiful high note, if she was allowed to do so.

The villain kind of was in the right because if you do have evil intentions, your wish should not be granted

One idea that could have made the wishes dangerous (and made Magnifico very evil) was do the old “be careful what you wish for” trope where with each wish comes a deadly price and this caveat could have been hidden from the people. It would have paid homage to Dr. Facilier or Ursula.

Disney is allergic to romantic couples unless the female is dominant and the male is submissive smh. That is a *terrible* message to send to kids, let alone people who want to be in a relationship 🤦🏻‍♀️

Let's just take a quick moment to think about the ending. The kingdom threw out the man with the experience and then gave the exact same job to a teenage girl with no experience. Makes me think of the scene from Nostalgia Critics review on Wish where it cut to black and all of a sudden the kingdom is in flames

It's the 100 year anniversary that put the final nail in the coffin. Most people would be disappointed but overall apathetic if Wish was a random Disney movie release. When people saw that Wish was attached to the anniversary, people were expecting quality comparable to, say, Encanto or Inside Out 2. EDIT: the cool concepts that were abandoned are additional salt in the wound

I love the eye shape you gave Asha in your drawing! So pretty! 💖🌠 Edid: The thing about the message is really true! I would have liked if they explained that the the star's, and by extention, Asha's magic can't be used to just instantly solve your life. It could be even another referece, like... the fairy godmother didn't just send a lightning to kill the step mother and step sisters to give Cinderella the happily ever after, she gave Cinderella temporary props so she could go to the ball, wich happened to lead her to meet the prince and have her happily ever after. Like... using the magic as just a support, like you said... does that make sense? I hope it does.

It's not that it was awful but.. it was disappointing.The original version they scrapped seemed much more interesting. Honestly I hope they'll remake it with better writing and more character development (and better music 💀)

My advice for last year would’ve been to have “Wish Upon A Studio” been the 100 year tribute, and work out the kinks of “Wish” before releasing it. “This Is the Thanks I Get” is an ear worm, and Magnifico had so much potential (your alternatives would’ve been great ideas). P.S. Asha having a goat could be a reference to Esmeralda in “Hunchback of Norte Dame”.

Disney's Wish is not really a bad movie, in my opinion. Sure, it definitely could've been better, but it wasn't a terrible fiom. To be honest, I think it would've been a much better movie if the creative team went with their original plan, having Asha being the daughter of both evil parents, King Magnifico, and Queen Amaya. Plus, having Aaha being the daughter of the evil king and queen could've given Asha some great character development that allowed her to stand against her evil parents, giving more interesting personality than the previous Disney Princesses/Heroines. And to add to that, they could've give Asha's seven friends bigger roles where they can teach Asha the difference between the typical good vs. evil and help her reform and turn against her evil parents. I don't mind Asha having that "dorkable" personality, but it's definitely way overdone by now. Disney Animators really need to give their characters more personality and depth if they want to tell more potential good stories.

🌠I haven't seen it myself. Mostly because nothing has really grabbed my attention, and the more I hear about it the less I want to watch it. Which stinks because I remember being intrigued with Disney doing something new. Only to slowly find out that it was a classic Disney movie being done by people who seam to not understand what made them work. I don't think it deserves the hate that it gets, but I can see where people are coming from. Here's to hoping that Disney can make a true return to form some day. 🙂

I do think the reason why ppl think it's that bad is probably because of the bad movies disney has produced in past. I mean, disney has not been doing well since 2020, but I do think they were kinda lazy with Wish. The concepts are amazing 👏 🤩, and Asha's design was actually well done, however the Asha we got has a purple color scheme, and it doesn't work well because we already have Rapunzel with that Color Scheme. I think orange could have worked maybe a bit better, or use 2 colors, it doesn't have to be one. The concept had full potential, and this was the chance for Disney to grow ✨️, but they switched the exciting stuff with boring level 1 😴😴. Some reviews just expand the hate in some bad movies that are not even that are bad. Anyways love your content ✨️ 💕 💛 🌠

I listened to At All Cost before seeing the movie and I bet you can imagine my confusion when I hear what sounds like a love song being sung between a grown man and a teenage girl. It's also ironic that the best song in the movie was most likely left over from the original story. Even Chris Pine said that it felt like a love song

Probably the best thing about Wish is that it’s a great canvas to create some enjoyable fanfics, especially with all the material they cut out

I mean, not tremendously, and I do see its flaws and would've definitely better liked the version with those abandoned concepts you mentioned. But due to some EXTREMELY biased reasons and some circumstances that were happening when I first watched it... I can't help but have a bit of a soft spot for it. Overall I agree that what was most detrimental to this film was the huge responsibility as the celebration of 100 years of Disney. They really should've just given that honor to "Once Upon a Studio", and simply launch this one as a regular film. It wouldn't have made a huge impression either way, but it also wouldn't have made people as mad, and would've probably saved them having to add as many references, especially the most forced ones. I think Enchanted did it better, honestly. 😅 True, that one was more of a self-parody, but at the same time feels oddly respectful to classic Disney movies and tropes and more like a love letter to what the company's movies became known for. If you want a Disney tribute movie, I think that one feels a lot closer to one.

🌠 I didn't see Wish, but from this video alone, I feel that Once Upon a Studio is a better anniversary celebration than that movie. Wish just feels more like a generic modern Disney flick.

*I* hate wish because Jennifer Lee fostered such a hostile and toxic work environment that she drove away talented Disney veterans as well as firing them because she didn't want old white guys to get any praise (regardless of how much experience or talent they had) and instead decided to hire inexperienced artists and writers from Tumblr who expressed indifference towards the Disney legacy to work on this film. And all of this was reported on by Film Threat in The D Files. "Jennifer Lee came in and she wanted to make Wish to honor the legacy of Walt Disney, but the problem was that all of the events leading up to that point... she had pushed aside all of the veteran animators and artists- the people who knew the legacy of Walt Disney, she got rid of all of them. And then she tried to make a movie that's supposed to be honoring Walt Disney. And there was no one there left who knew how to do it." - Film Threat This is what I hate about Wish. Not even the movie itself but the fact that it's just another product of Disney's ongoing downfall due to poor management.

Aside from the subpar music (but Julia and Jennifer have already explained that), the characters are poorly done: Asha never grows and learns and would've been better off as a Raya/Elsa/Tiana-like character (and an orange dress like her concept art; the purple is too Rapunzel/Isabela), the Teens are WAY too many people who don't have time to feel fleshed out or necessary, and Magnifico had a point and was originally written as a good guy with Amaya as the villain, but instead Amaya is plain and Magnifico flip-flops. Plus Sabino's role could've easily been swapped out with Sakina and nothing would be different, especially since Sabino feels redundant when Asha's dad inspired and motivated her in a similar way (despite rarely being mentioned).

They really should use the first idea script of Wish aka Starboy x Asha Romance vs Evil Queen & King Couple oof lol

It's not that the movie is bad but it's disappointing. Like we were so robbed of the concept art. It Disney's 100 it would've made so much sense for a romance since thats one of the big things they're know for and a Disney villain duet would've been freaking awesome. Even Asha's character design is boring, she's supposed to be Afro-Iberian but her design is just so plain and the purple is not it, her concept art with the red and orange color palette's were so pretty. Like the scene where the star makes Asha's dress sparkle was so disappointing since I thought that she would've gotten a new dress but nothing. Yes I know that they're princesses who don't get an outfit change like for example Mirabel but the difference is she has a memorable design. Rosas is also supposed to be set in the Mediterranean Sea but the kingdom doesn't look like that and it's supposed to be a diverse place but everyone wears the same type of clothes. Another thing is Asha's best friend Dahlia is apparently East Asian but her clothes are no different than anyone else. Also the thing with Asha's motivation to free the wishes is that there's really no hurry to save the wishes since as we see everyone is happy and the only person we see that is affected is Simon. It would've made more sense for the people to be miserable. Magnifico himself isn't even a villain until he opens the book of dark magic. He has pretty good motivations. reasons, and intentions and him not granting the grandpa's wish for being to vague is actually a pretty good point since the wish is to inspire people but like Magnifico said inspire people to do what? Like when Asha and Star said that the wishes don't belong to Magnifico all I thought was yes they do since the people willingly gave them up knowing that he would be keeping them safe and by the way he does up that until the book turns him evil. It is basically the lottery. Also I get wanting a blend of 2D and 3D animation for the anniversary but I don't understand how the movie turned out like this. Disney also already had the perfect 2D and 3D animation that they could've used since they used it for the short film Paperman which was awesome

I never watch the movie nor do I ever plan to see it, because from the reviews I've seen and read, including yours, it never gave me a good enough reason to watch it. Wish is a disappointment of what was supposed to be the 100th years of Disney, among many of the things that they should have done to make the movie the better... Why didn't they just pick a fairy tale and retold it in their own way, that is how Disney started with Snow White a story from a classic book. But NOPE, they went with making up their own story with no reference what's so ever and this is the results, a huge pile of nothing😑 Disney's future is not looking as bright as they want us to think, and I already feel dread from the upcoming seuqeuls that will make us cringe 😖 God bless you Aloubell 🙏🏼

I watched it when it first came out. It's a decent movie, but it feels....safe. Like it's actively trying to avoid doing anything new or unique. This gets more obvious when you see the deleted concepts, like Starboy and the Royal Villain Couple. My point is, what we got is okay, and I certainly wasn't bored watching it, but it definitely could've been so much more. Ironically the "to have something more for us than this", line actually sums up this movie perfectly.

I think the hate for this movie, is less about the movie itself and more about what it represents. A lot of people have been frustrated with modern Disney lately. A lot of their recent movies were remakes, which shows their recent lack of creativity and them relying on nostalgia. If they weren't remakes, the quality of the storytelling didn't hold up to the standards that a company like Disney should have. Wish was gonna be their way to redeem themselves in a way, especially since this movie was supposed to celebrate their 100th anniversary. A lot of people had expectations and the movie didn't hold up to it in everyway. The storytelling and music were mid. The concept, message and characters weren't explored and expanded on enough. The movie clearly needed more time to be worked on before being released.

Having watched the movie myself, the more I think about, the worse it becomes. So I definitely have to say that I disagree with the "People were too harsh on this movie and it isn't the worst thing ever" statement. This movie is bad and I don't think you got the message Wish was trying to send right, it is much worse than that, and the exact opposite of what Princess and the Frog's message stood for. In fact a guy named "Manga Writer" made an hour long video names "Wish is everything wrong with Disney" and he goes into deep detail as to why Wish is a horrible movie and sends a terrible message.

I wouldn't say its over reacting, since Disney hyped it up as this big thing, I was I the hospital looking at Disney channels and was bombarded with 3 wish adds in a row.. could say when I got out and I watched the movie I skipped the I want song... god that song got old quick, also I would say its more boring then anything, I coulldn't get through have of it without quitting

I don't know why, but I feel like they could've used Cats Don't Dance as an example for how they could've done their movie. I can't exactly explain why, I just feel that way towards Wish.

Ever since I first watched the movie, it was just boring from the start that’s part of disneys 100 year anniversary that didn’t really lead to nothing even though it did had good music. The film was so bad that it even lost 130 million dollars in the box office just like Disneys strange world came up 197 million short of its expenses. Disney is just trying to revamp movies that are about musical numbers involving a princess in it but not being creative like how Pixar is doing with Inside out 2 which successfully is better.

I do not this movie is terrible or that its the worst. The concept was really interesting and the visuals were pleasing to look at. I just think the characters could've been more fleshed out, and the plot along with the songs could've been through a few more changes. There were many ways this movie could've gone and I can empathize with people's opinions whether they say its good or not, and people can always do rewrites or share their ideas if they want :)

While this movie is subjectively not the worst movie from Disney, for me it feels like one of the worst because I found it so boring and they played it too safe. Like there are movies that are subjectively bad that I enjoy because at least they’re entertaining enough but wish couldn’t even do that for me. It gets worst when you have seen the concept and deleted scenes of the movie we could have gotten. Magnifico was going to be an actual villain and Asha and Stars already feel like they have a fun relationship compared to the movie we got. If you haven’t seen the deleted scenes then I recommend you do so you see what I’m taking about.

I love the old Disney Movies, there is nothing that will Change against that. But. What Disney does in the last few years is a Shame! I wished they would dare to be more creative, more experimantal as they where in the 90s. Wish is for me a movie wich seems to be Ai generated in some way.

I actually have not seen this movie. After hearing the not-so-great reviews of the movie, I felt discourage, and I would've rather just went back and rewatched the classics. I also have to say that I can tell I would not like Valentino as it very much reminds me of the how many protagonists get a "comic relief" sidekick, which really is not as funny. This definitely became more prevalent after Olaf, just like the "quirky princess," we have seen quite a bit after Rapunzel. I guess they think if they can repeat these previous victories from their more popular movies, but they continue to drown out what made those characters more popular (actually having a personality, with a good balance of strengths and weaknesses/faults) Hearing the previous/alleged story we could've gotten, I definitely think we have gotten cheated regardless. However, I will still give it a try soon. Also, I love your drawing of Asha; it's so adorable! You are such a good artist.

This movie is literally a journey of an entitled kid who think she is a girlboss destroying a kingdom of a honest king. the king didn't do anything wrong yet treaded like a villain. meanwhile the quirky girl, who have been the main protag character for years, received the biggest reward by simply exist.

Okay, the movie isn't TOO bad, but this is supposed to be a celebration of Disney's 100th anniversary. As a normal Disney movie, it was...okay. But as the supposed celebration of Disney, they flopped big time. It's why I hate it so much. I don't care if people expected too much of it, because it's SUPPOSED to be grand if they wanna celebrate their anniversary. I grew up with Disney for as long as I remember, when I watched Wish, it was soulless and boring. I felt NOTHING throughout the whole movie I may be repeating myself, but even if someone says it's a decent movie, the fact remains it's supposed to be a CELEBRATION of 100 years of Disney. Disney is known to be and FEEL magical, the vibe, the story, all of it. Even if it was just a normal movie without magic, the feeling you get is just wow. But this, it shows how low Disney has gone This is my opinion so if anyone doesn't like it, please ignore it and move on

From what i heard most of the hand drawn 2d movie making equipment had been gotten rid of... There's barely any of it left.....

May be an unpopular opinion, but personally I dont find star's design to be all that cute. Im a sucker for all things cute, but he just doesnt really do it for me

It wasn't bad just painfully mediocre for what was supposed to be a major anniversary. That was the main problem it wasn't anything spectacular with not even its music/songs being well received which is pretty bad considering this is a Disney animated film we're talking about here in addition the characters were pretty forgettable with the protagonist coming off as annoying and the villain, the king, coming off as actually completely justified for once despite the writers wanting the opposite. 😅 The dissonance between wanting the king to be the VILLAIN like Scar yet making him have a sad backstory which no one objects to and making the kingdom a paradise with no downsides before the plot makes it weird that they wanted the audience to view him as the Pinnacle of evil for having a slight ego and being influenced by an evil book in a misguided attempt to protect his kingdom? I have no idea what they were going for here.

🌠 If you want something that's done by Disney with not only well placed references but also memorable characters and story, i highly recommend Twisted Wonderland. It's basically an isekai where the mc gets sent to magic school that looks up to disney villans but has no way to go home and ends up becoming the school's unofficial unpaid therapist. Its a mobile game and there's also a manga adapting the main story arcs. Also one of the events(the wish upon a star event) basically predicted Wish specifically the ending with Star and the wishes floating up😅 There's just so much care and attention put into the game and story and I can't recommend it enough^^ 🌠

🌠 it’s really a shame how much of a missed opportunity this movie was, it wasn’t absolutely horrible, but it makes it feel so much worse knowing how much of a better film we could of have. It’s such a shame to Disney in such a horrible state.

Its nice to see a review that doesn't tears this movie to shreds like literally everyone else I' ve seen. Not that it's really good I also had the same problems as mentioned in this video but it really isn't "worse than you think" or "death of disney". It is just very mid movie that unfortunately happened to be the one to celebrate 100 anniversary and got so much negative attention because of it. This might be exclusive just to me but the Slovak dub helped making this movie more enjoyable ,since it fixed some of the lyrics from the original songs and Asha is voiced by Dominika Richterová in her debut. She talked about how it was always her dream to do a voice acting for a Disney movie, so it was nice to see her dream come true and she did an amazing job. 😊

I personally haven't seen the movie (mainly because of the reviews). But from I've catched it had so much potential. I even played with the thought of rewriting it. I still do. But of course that's a large Project, that I don't know if I can commit to. Edit: I also think Magnifico and Asha could've learned from eachother. Ist's not classic Disney, but it would've been interesting.

My main grievance with the hate for Wish is that it all stemmed from people assuming that Asha wanted to make everyone's wishes come true which made her the bad guy. Seeing the movie, this is obviously not true and it just became a hate train of people who didn't bother to look up what it's about or listen to others when explained to. 😅 Wish has it's many faults, but it was annoying to see the most talked about critique being something that wasn't even true

🌠When I first saw Wish, I liked it, mainly because of Magnifico (every scene he was in was just so much fun to watch). However, over time, I have noticed more and more of its flaws. I still don’t think that it’s the worst Disney movie. I actually like it more than some of the other movies they’ve made recently. But the fact that Wish was supposed to celebrate 100 years of Disney makes what we got disappointing.

Magnifico is the biggest victim in Wish.....AND HE'S THE "VILLAIN" Plus amaya joining asha makes no sense( like the husband you been married to for more than 10 years i believe and you betray him because he was acting odd for a couple of days and you barely tried to see what was wrong?) And with the whole mirror thing apparantly he is suppost to be the mirror from snow white

Before watching the video: the movie definitely isn't the worst Disney film but there was so much missed potential that it got everybody upset. I don't think I want to watch Disney movies anymore. Can't wait for that new movie The Wild Robot.

Great video! I think the reason the why people are just so disappointed is that the movie has wasted potential, some people are just tired of the quirky princesses and the songs, yikes! The song are kind of bad. Some people on RU-vid already review and rewritten the lyrics to make more sense and of course the romance. I say Enchanted and Once upon a studio did way better when it come to the references and Disney’s anniversary.

I like Wish, I really do, but I'm not blind to notice any of its flaws. The ideas could've work with better execution and overall, writing. This was supposed to be a 100th anniversary movie; it has the Wishing, magic, nice animation, TALKING ANIMAL SIDEKICKS, ugh, they had it all and yet they didn't perfectly execute them really well, which is disappointing. ESPECIALLY Star, I still like him in the final movie, but, Goddammit, Asha x Star Boy, man.

(which of course carries it's own set disappointments 😔) The addition of starboy (yes I read the captions 😂but still think he would have been more of a impact) being a thing definitely would have been a nice touch for sure.. But cute marketable plush character ftw I suppose😂 All in all it was "just ok" as far everything in the movie goes. 🌟 Hey Aloubell Wish could have been a great movie, if it weren't so terribly written The character design is kinda boring, I would have loved it Asha would have get a pretty dress with sparkles and diamonds on it at the end of the movie. But I like the fact that she has box braids, I think that's cute! As someone who loves romance and villains, I was pretty disappointed with wish 😢 As you probably know Asha and star (who was originally supposed to be a boy) would have a romantic relationship 😍👀 but Disney said : NO, WE CAN'T HAVE ROMANCE!!! And in old concept art Magnifico and Queen Amaya ( sidenote : Ayama is really pretty name and I like her design 😊 😅 Especially her hair) were supposed to be an evil villain couple 😢 and we were robbed from this genius idea! 😭😭😭 I want a movie with an evil villain couple, please!!!! 38:46, so like with MLP in the S3 premiere? Because they had lost the crystal heart because of the previous king, their colors were less vibrant. After gaining the heart back, they got their color back.

I wanted to like this movie, I really did. But it’s just so boring. I’m an artist and animator so I guess I’m hard to impress but I know how many amazing creative people worked hard on this film. What really upsets me is that corporate greed is likely why they didn’t push further with doing the film in 2D and the early concepts (starboy, Asha being the daughter of the king and queen, and them both being an evil power couple, etc). I think so those ideas just feel so much more alive and like traditional Disney. So yeah I don’t hate wish it’s a fine movie but I hate that it could have been so much better. It just breaks my heart that Disney just won’t take risks anymore and completely gives into modern media tropes. They have the money to try something really different but they don’t. That just frustrates me so much because I see studios like Cartoon Saloon making films that far out class Disney but don’t get any attention from general audiences. Ugh here’s to hoping Disney will learn from Wish by spending more time in the writers room and letting the films have more creative freedom.

I haven't actually watched Wish yet, and to be honest, I'm not sure I want to. I mean, I definitely wanna try to keep an open mind, but I've also heard _a lot_ of criticisms about it like yours, so, I'm not really sure if I should actually watch it or not. :P. Who knows, maybe despite all the criticisms and whatnot, I _might_ actually enjoy it by watching it and judging it based on my own mindset and the movie's own merit, who knows? :P.

Wish isn’t a terrible movie per say, but it is by far the most disappointing Disney movie ever. There’s a lot worse movies by both Disney and Pixar, like Chicken Little and Home on the Range, or even sequel films like Ralph Breaks the Internet. Personally, I’m far more disappointed and irritated by what Wish could’ve been if they stuck a lot closer to the original story. One of the biggest problems I had with this movie is how Asha was more like a villain than anything because of how seemingly selfish she is. Magnifico had a good point in why he couldn’t grant certain wishes and not wanting to return them to their owners, and he could’ve easily worked as an evil villain with a tragic story that lead to him going down the path of evil. But no, he all of a sudden became unhinged and completely wicked for no reason. And the other big problem I had, aside the annoying goat, is getting rid of Starboy and forcing him to stay a marketable plushie for Asha. I don’t even understand Star’s powers, he can make animals talk but can’t grant wishes?? What? Overall, I think this movie heavily suffered from corporate meddling and why it turned out so lackluster. It doesn’t help this is supposed to be a tribute to Walt Disney’s legacy, and it feels more like a harsh reminder of how far the company has fallen from its morals and only cares about money.

Honestly idk if I'm in the position of criticism, but wish isnt entertain, for me x3. After hearing so much bad stuff, my expectations were sooo down! And after watching it, it feels empty I guess??? Like some things didn't get fleshed out, personally, felt like it. But I can't remember really anything, since I almost fell asleep during the movie 😅😅😅 X3 Yeah... Honestly, having a villain couple would be great....but...it doesn't really speak to me. My idea was, since it was the 100 year celebration, maybe have king magnifico has the main villain and the Queen a twist villain. Working with the protagonist just to betray them in the end or even in the middle of the movie. But yeah.....i guess it's one of those movies that.....exists.....:> Poor King magnifico 😢

Once upon a studio has more passion, creativity and respect for animation than Wish. It's only 8 minutes but is so fun and cute! I love the moment when Mickey thnaked Walt, that was adorable 🥰 Worst part of this movie, beside Valentino and Asha's friends who are all boring except Dalia; is the songs. First, pop music doesn't go AT ALL in a medieval world. Second, the lyrics are awful! Who thought '' Get that in your system, solar! '' or '' Are you sure your not the prob? '' sounds good? They are more cringe and unfunny than anything else!

Watching Wish is like seeing one of the weaker Doraemon movies, Nobita's Space Heroes. They're not bad, it's just that they're not as good as the rest.

Ngl personally i do like "This is the thanks i get?" Its a guilty like xD It was meh for me but ill be honest- I throwed shade because of the critisism joining too ^^; Its not THE worst movie, but its just meh. I wasnt really into the story and while i did vibe with the visuals of the songs i didnt really pay attention to lyrics, just "Oh pretty visuals" Asha was meh, I love talking animals but Unlike Gus and Jack from Cinderella he adds nothing to the story other than jokes that i do laugh or chuckle Star was meh I love Magnifico but i do agree that they did him dirty, Amaya was Meh that i even forgot her name most of the time Forgot to add this: Again, not the worst movie but for a 100 anniversary it was meh

I honestly didn’t hate the movie itself, Asha just kinda confused me for most of it. I actually liked most of the songs, except for the villain song which was ok I guess, and the ending was bittersweet. Overall, when I left the theater I gave it a 7/10. Definitely not the worst movie I’ve ever seen (that would be Cats 2019, which made my eyes bleed), but not the best at all

it's mid coub be better or could have been worst but when it come from disney it's difficulte to say it's great at all. maybe and indie sutdio sound like a first time safe bet to sart but from disney over the years we need more theater and musical major kids into the work of a movie than tonnal issue with mannifico song and the prepare to war one 11:34 not the clearest comparaison but there on i have in mind : there an mlp episode where granddaugther find a fake potion was sold to give bravery or power was scam but it help her grandma to get back to swiming fearlessly again until an attempt at a jump into a water bucket from a verry high ladder and the grand daugther do not support the lie anymore and expose the scammers before teh granny take a trip for the hospital. the accomplice of the scammer came clean and thanks the honesty of the grand daugther of exposing it.

Naaah, girl it is pretty bad 😭 lol (It's Not the worst thing like, I have an opinion on what's the worst film I've seen this year, but) It's nice hearing the positives people may find *about it 😊 It's just.. disappointing and annoying for me.. the Greatness was sooo close 😔 Some of it was still nice to look at, like character designs, and the actors & singers are really talented, God given skills 💕💕 it sucks they had to say these un-skilled lines 😓 Next time I'm sure all the staff can be allowed to bring their A-Game to something else too!... I feel like this movie was mid. It has mediocre music, characters, and plot, but it's not terrible. It would be something to just put on in the background and not pay attention to. I think, if this weren't supposed to be a movie to celebrate 100 years of Disney, it probably would have just flown under the radar blanketed by the plethora of all the marvel stuff they were doing last year

After the whole live action little mermaid situation, an original black female character from disney was very high in demand. It's understandable many people felt disappointed the "quirkadorkable🤪😅" Asha is what they got. it's a very cookie-cutter movie.

Its a fine movie but im still not a fan because it feels like wasted potential. I will say i do like the other disney film that came out this year is Elemental. If you haven't seen it go check it out!

I forgot to tell you something when you made the video on phinese and ferb well the voice of Doofenshmirtz said on his tik tok that both Doofenshmirtz and Candace are THE story phinese and ferb are just setting for the episodes the only exception is the specials like the marvel one ECT and also you would have hated the bugs there are these 3 bugs that were meant to be in the show but they made it into the owca files and doof 101 and they are SO BORING like there are no reason for them to be there you can see why they are removed from the show.
