so what I've learned is to never buy parts that need to function on a car, on wish LOL only appearance mods

Since you said you were going for a blue theme, as a suggestion I’d recommend wrapping the car 3m cosmic blue. Seems fitting for the build

As an ATV racer here is my list of things to NOT cheap out on for safety. 1. Helmet 2. Neck brace 3. Wheel studs 4. Handle bars I have seen most of these fail. Think if this breaks when i need it most could i get hurt? If it is even a maybe then pay for safety so you don't pay for it later.

I bought a Vertex steering wheel off Wish and it's actually made and stamped by ATC (look em up, high end steering wheels) and it's rock solid, zero flex. It was 60 bucks and compared to 400 for a legit Vertex that's a win. Highly recommended.

I bought a generic wheel on ebay and its honestly solid. Not wonky or any flex. Payed about 40 bucks. All Nardi fakes are trash but no brand wheels can be good.

These kinds of steering are supposed to run with a racing harness because you remove the airbags. So if you come to do it, at least don't buy fake/cheap/knock-off harness and harness bar. So even if the steering comes apart, you're gonna be "safe".

bought a replica momo and a normal hub for 35€ euros total on Wish, 2 months in and still works decent. I can save cash for a better steering wheel. #collegelife

You guys can always buy a cluster with a tach from an auto wrecker for pretty cheap. I did that for my 95 cx hatch and it's looks decent

i brought one of the 2$ hubs for my mazda and a 2nd hand steering wheel from craigslist. holes didn't match up with the steering wheel so i drilled and tapped my own . 3 months later took it to a track day. gave it al the abuse i could give it and then ad one moment ..... Yheah i just finished the race like everyone x) , steering wheel held up great.

If you want a good quality product cheaper than nrg. Dnd performance interior is a good option. I have their hub, quick disconnect and a steering wheel from them. Cost me like $230.00 for everything. Was over $100 cheaper than nrg was.

I love it. Wheel feels nice but when you look at it from the drivers seat you go "That looks fucking weird!".

Btw, the Nardi horn can't fit with the silver colored sleeve that is supposed to retain smaller sized horns like NRG etc. Nice info otherwise!

The way to know if it has an air bag or not, is to just drive the car into a wall at about 30-40kph and you will find out.

You should have got an aluminum and wood grain steering wheel you can get them in multiple colors to suit your needs and they're still between 60 and $500 depending on your needs and each one is the same so nothing matters you can spend the 68 bucks on it and you will be happy and safe

I just went all in and bought a genuine Nardi wheel, Works Bell quick release and lock, and HKB Sports hub to avoid that problem. That shit was like $800 usd.

You have to make sure it says eg Civic or ek or whatever because all there splines are different, I think power steering and non power steering can be different too

You should put a wish supercharger in it it’s only $10 and wish also sells a $3 tuning chip which is supposed to increase hp by 35% and torque by 25%

please take that off ASAP - my minitruck had the "momo" version of your wheel & at 12o'clock the internal structure snapped mid corner & almost made me crash (F+R bagged minitrucks don't corner quick too)

Thx god your honest and advised your viewer's not to purchase car parts from wish.... thumbs up👍👍👍 cuz a lot of your viewer's and follwers life's a in your hands .... any car parts should not be purchased on wish ...and ebay you really have to be careful.... I'm a mechanic/Toyota technician from Australia... and we see people buying Toyota brake pads on ebay claiming that's genuine for much cheaper price. The pads and packaging looks genuine, but it's made out of asbestos a very harmful lung cancer causing material...pls be careful who and where you by online. I'm doing a little project on my car as well, well it's a really big project and can't cheap out on parts, have to make sure everything is ADR(Australian Design Rules) but anyway keep up the good work... i know budgeting and keeping the cause down is in every average joes mind.. but make sure your parts a approved by the country you live in... just remember what you can buy in shops doesn't mean you can fit it in your vehicle. ..all the best and keep up the go work and stay true, cause so viewer's will take up your advise... monkey see monkey do, just have this in mind. Man, I finally found the exact steering wheel I wanted and ordered it, the fuckin thing got seized by customs for being a damn good knock off.

I got a whole set with the steering wheel, hub and all of that for about $120 on ebay and its actually solid id recommend it to anyone

Just to clarify with you , even the real nrg hub and qr with a nardi wheel gave me the same issue with the connectors. Well at least my personal wheel did.

yo if you guys are going to get a wheel, get a viilante wheel. I had an NRG that I wasn't super happy with, went with the perforated leather one from them and its sick asf. its like $150 usd

There is a metal ring in the quick release that comes out mine was same way not shotty part mine worked perfect after i figured out i was wrong.

I had the exact same problem with the hub adapter where the hole was too big and the splines did not line up, ended up grabbing an NRG hub and bam

I made my own steering wheel. Its cool because no one in the world has the same one as me.

Next you need to fix your widebody. It could look so much better. Please sand it back down and rebondo it. Then sand everything down smooth so the will be no more weird ridges and bumps/divots. Make it look oem

You guys might like the CG Lock performance seatbelt, bolts up to your stock seatbelt and turns it into a racing harness for what it's worth. Cheap way so you don't have to hold on while taking corners hard.

Oh shit I have the same knock off Nardi that came with my '98 Civic. They are actually really good quality, which is really surprising. Mine has white stitching instead of red though. My wheel also has the horn bit sticking out, and the horn getting stuck so.. needless to say I have no horn. Bit further into the video, mine doesn't flex at all.

My steering wheel from circuit was actually the same way only using one cable, kind of odd but its pretty normal for aftermarket wheels!

So does the quick release actually release? Or when you said it doesn't work does that just mean it's a solid piece?
