@@SultanSaleh-b9o Then it would probably kill you with the surrounding items around it. The box is 1 of those wishing items that does whatever it can to find a loophole
I'd wish for superpowers that were easy to learn to control...especially since u have to be specific with what u want and I would wish to have a billion dollars
If I was claire, I wouldn't be embarrassed about my dad but my friend who says-" Your dad is 'hot sauce' like 'sriracha hot'." I mean, thats taking the cringe to a whole new level.
Michael Williams I don't know, I haven't seen the movie. But as he explained in the video, the dog died because Claire wished that the mean girl would rot. And I stated that it wouldn't be worth it.
Problem the demon is going to twist your words if you look up invincible it means too powerful to be defeated or overcome so you will always be able to win a fight as will your loved ones but that does not make you immortal or immune to death 2 if you did wish for immortality you would probably be a sentient corpse or paralyzed if the demon couldn't kill you he might just cripple you to the point of no return
@@justygilberts4336 Invincible is not immortal by most standards. Also if you ever wish for immortality make sure to couple it with eternal youth or you'll wither and age and never die.
Blazen Archery for the seventh wish, I would have wished that seven of my most hated individuals (bullies, racists, or corrupt president) to pay all seven blood prices instead of my friends, my family, and me!
Nick Technubyte I don’t think that’s a good decision, you see, with every death comes a new born leader, who can or might be worse then the one before, also killing people isn’t to be taken lightly
Discord if I wished for seven people to pay all seven blood prices, my loved ones and I will be saved! Also, since I'm still alive and no longer subjected to the laws of the wishing box, I can bury it in the most remote/dangerous place where nobody will ever find it EVER!!!! And if there's horrible people in the world and you could wish they'd suffer brutally violent deaths, would you make that wish KNOWNING it would come true?! Because I would in less than a nanosecond!!!
Somebody can't die to a wish from a box that never existed! I mean, sure, if the box never existed then you can't use the box to wish the box never existed, and therefor it would have still come into existence, but assuming that that paradox didn't come to fruition, her mother also would have never killed herself because she never would have found the box and nobody that died in the movie (or before) would have died because there would have been no box to kill people from wishes. It literally solves every problem she had. Except for douchebags. But then again, I don't think anything could fix this movie.
...Why not wish that the box only killed wild animals, why not wish no one died from the box, why not wish that whoever the box killed would just come back to life the exact same way they were before they died instantaneously after dying, why not wish for another wishbox that doesn't require human sacrifice, why not wish for the ability to revive the dead, why not wish that you yourself were able to use literal reality bending magic that seems to exist in this world, Etc. Monkey's paw scenarios don't pan out if anyone involved has any modicum of sense.
"If the ower gives the boxs away before using all 7wishes , all of their wishes will be undone and released from the curse" I could be wrong but.... if she wanted to undo her wishes couldn't she just give the boxs away???? Wouldn't things like...reset or something????
Unfortunately everyone who died would still be dead and she would also lose everything she wished for so it’s like double the loss, like when her friend took away the box and all her wishes were undone but people were still dead yeah that’s what would happen but honestly after her friend took it and literally fell down the stairs trying to keep it from her she should’ve wished to go back to the morning and she wouldn’t have died
@@desirae1986 But, she could of gave the box to a trustworthy friend to make the last wish for her so no one is harmed :> But of course it can always backfire
@@Momoxyo I think that could’ve worked, but someone still would’ve died plus i’m pretty sure the box had some type of supernatural hold on her so it was influencing her to make more wishes.
youre both missing the point. just wish for dragon balls to exist, then wish for a dragon ball teleporter. collect sed dragon balls, wish for the box and its power to cease existing from that moment forward, and then wish anyone harmed back to life, then you will be left with infinite wishes. you're welcome.
Poptart is Salty idk leave it at home and make the wishes with the dragon balls at school so everyone can see you're a badass and then become a super saiyan 10 and destroy the box and the evil itself with your ballin ass powers. At least that's what I would try
Once again, we have found a monster that is killed with its own weapon, simply say "I wish the demon within this music box would be destroyed" problems solved
Even better: First wish.) "I wish that anything that I would consider a negative consequence that would occur as a result of me making wishes, won't happen," Last Wish.) "I wish this box and everything inside would no longer exist,"
my wishs my first wish is I would have the power to resurrect anyone that might be affected by the Box As for my second wish is for an object that would reveal the secrets of anything in the universe weather those secrets resides in the spirit world or in the physical world even the secrets of people Third Wish a bag that would always fill up with money but only if the currency of the respected region of where that person is holding that bag Fourth wish the ability to fly and walk on water and shapeshift Fifth wish a key that would allow someone to walk into a realm in between realms to go into other realities and walk in between timelines going forward and backwards in time and the key is universal it can open any door into this in between realities and time Sixth wish a sword that can kill anything and makes the wielder invulnerable so long as they are the owners of the sword As for my seventh wish for me being eternally young and Immortal long with having the secrets of immortality and the Fountain of Youth
similar to a thing popular in Asia called a bagua mirror, it grants you luck, but never stare at the mirror directly in the eye or else havoc occurs, commonly found on chinese people's homes hung up on an unreachable area in the house don't really know much about them, my family lives across a chinese family and outside the 3rd floor of their house,on an unreachable wall, a brown, octagonal, wooden mirror is there
I swear i read this book in school. I remember the girl rotting and the guy she liked ended up literally growing roots, like a tree, bc she wished for him to stay in their hometown
correction, most modern horror movies ( everything now adays feels .... washed out- modernized- the spark of horror is nothing if not a couple cheap jump scares and cookie cutter scenarios )
The way I see it is, since 50's, 60's were movies about Dracula, Frankenstein, werewolf. 70's and 80's were about some kind of serial killers but also part monsters, half 90's was shitty and the other half was actually about a person being a serial killer, then we got 00's about supernatural, ghosts, demons,etc.. what's left? What else could be new to the audience? So just like IT, time to reboot old movies.
Rafael Robles, there are lots of other things we could explore though. Things such as plastic surgery, viruses, insanity, and the idea of entrapment to name a few. Although I do agree in a supernatural sense we are pretty run out- excluding very far out folklore.
The late 2000's was when the paranormal and supernatural started taking off. I think the early and mid 2000's was still about serial killers, the Saw franchise started, and others similar to Saw. 2010-2015 is when paranormal and supernatural was huge. From 2015 to now, everything has pretty much been done before. Hopefully there will be a new wave of great horror films that will explore something other than the human psyche and demons in the near future.
I don't know why man but every plot you describe makes the movie sound so much better than the actual movie. I love your channel and videos, keep up the good work please.
Uh, speaking as a Chinese who learns Chinese as her mothertongue, if I'm not wrong, only Taiwan uses traditional chinese. I've learnt simplified Chinese all my life, and its pretty much taught the same in other countries as well. Btw, ancient chinese is a lot different from traditional chinese as they use different strokes and look more like drawings. So I wouldn't say the box has ancient chinese but rather traditional chinese characters. Just wanted to clear that up.
Ok so how about first wish the box must kill people by a heart attack or organ failure then second wish any victim gets his/her body healed and brought back to life
Why does the dog have to die?! I dont care about any of the people just if a demon touches and animal, THATS IT THATS TOO MUCH OVER THE LINE SCREW YOU DEMON!!
It isn't really the same, because I have the same thing. I don't like seeing animals dying either, and that dog was probably hurt. Obviously it hits harder because it's a movie. I wouldn't care more about a dog's life than a human's in real life, obviously.
The only sad part was the dog, the movie reminded me about wishmaster and final destination combined. The first wish where the person begins to rot reminds me about cabin fever but it also remind me about contracted and contracted 2. It would be interesting to have a movie about a disease which causes the skin of the people to slowly rot and they end up dead.
I enjoyed Wish Upon. As far as the moral of the story and the characters. Such as Claire and Meredith. Relates to the selfishness of a teen and how one can be minded some can be. It's a bit biased and cliched but it was still worth a watch
At first I was like ok I can see how she could go crazy with the wishes coming up with a parent missing from suicide and she saw it. I have a parent who committed suicide and if I had that box my wished would have been smarter yes but I and im sure many others would have put the correlations of the deaths together much sooner like the first one lmao
didn’t it say that if she gave the box away it would undo all the wishes? then why didn’t she just give it away? that would’ve brought her dad back would it not have? instead of making the 7th wish killing her?
TheMaskedNinja THAT WAS WHAT I THOUGHT- I TURNED AROUND TO MOM AND SHOWED HER AND SHE’S LIKE “Yeah, you’ve seen Maze Runner and Scorch Trials too many times, kid.” LMFAO
cn_silly_ nix It's been a while so I don't remember the rules exactly but the user of the box is also taken or killed or smth after they run out of wishes
I watched Wish Upon last night. I did have to look away on her neighbor's death, but it was legitimately just like an after school special EDIT; also, was anyone really surprised by her mom's drawing of the music box? It felt really tension-filled as it you weren't supposed to know before, but pretty early on it seemed obvious. Also, this thing was so predictable, I'm not even good at guessing most movie events but I still could tell almost every thing that happened like at least 25 minutes before any of it happened (for example, SPOILER WARNING, I totally knew Paul whatever-the-fuck would end up instantly obsessed before the wonton girl died)
Are you serious? It was horrendous. The main character was a despicable human being. Her friends were despicable. Everyone else was despicable except of the people who didn't really get to do much. None of their actions make any sense or are incredibly unrealistic. The death sequences were without exception hilarious. It kept introducing characters just to kill them off that had like 1 minute of screentime before they died. It was more like a parody of a horror movie.
I love this channel, I always find myself being addicted to your videos and re-watching anything I can found and haven't fully memorized yet. God bless yall
Her last wish triggered a multiverse. When she went back to the day she found the box everything was normal but she remembered everything that happened before time reset (she explains to Ryan her theory and that she already knew his cousin despite having not met her yet in this new reality).
Wishes I would make Wish it doesn't kill anybody Wish the box was destroyed Wish the box was no longer cursed Edit: nearly 150 likes, I did not expect this :0
1 No consequences for using the box 2 Immortality 3 Being able to learn anything just by looking at it 4 Being able to fly 5 Super strength 6 find out a way to use the box a second time 7 I do know
I'm pretty late but I feel If wish upon was successful enough for a part 2 definately Claire would be alive and then i think Gina would be killed, becuz probably when Claire is alive she wouldn't have even remembered what happened before about the box just as when Claire's mom went back to life and it would make sense if Gina died becuz if she's alive then the music box would be instantly translated and Ryan wouldve found a way to stop it quickly.
@@Maddie-ro3vd idk but wouldn't this last wish have caused a multiverse? When she went back to the first day everything was normal but she remembered everything that happened before (Ryan even freaks out that she knows about his cousin when she hasn't even met her yet in the new reality). Since Claire dies and Ryan decided to make wishes in the post credits, would that cause an endless time and death loop? Because Ryan would wish and make all the same mistakes Clare made until he reverses time (triggering another timeline) where he dies and someone else finds the box.
Even though you wish to go back in time before all that happened that still counts as a wish. In eventually someone else I'm going to find out box start making wishes
Wish 1: "I wish no one I cared about could die" Wish 2: "I wish I had the power to grant my own wishes" I am now God Edit: or just wish for the power to grant your own wishes as wish Number one
Smasher Games i loved this movie because i believe in making wishes and having repercussions because of it. Ive made wishes and theyve come true horrible evil wishes and wonderful happy wishes
