fuck my fangirl heart honestly why do people think this about artist. I'm an artist (it's more of a serious hobby if anything) and I love my work when it's actually good. like for the first couple of years I hated all my work because it actaully wasn't good but when like I actually got better and started drawing quality and stuff that i liked then I actually really started liking those specific drawings that turned out well even if it had a couple mistakes. why do people think artist for some reason can't tell what's good and what's not when it comes to their work. I mean do other artist actually think this way. I think the whole "everything I draw sucks" Is more of a mind set that newer artist have(newer can mean first or second year or so) because most professionals I've seen or met don't have that mindset. sorry this was so long.
When did he stop? Did he get cold feet or something. Like, half the comments are about something that seemingly never happened so I'm just here wondering if this is a remnant from before I slipped into the alternate universe because I dig on multiverse theory.

Following your twitter I kinda saw this coming. Spending so much time on reviews just to have them demonetized by RU-vid is frustrating and not worth it, I completely understand. Still super sad to hear. Your videos taught me a lot about film, and I decided to write a film analysis for my bachelor's thesis in part because of your reviews and the science that was put behind them. I'll make sure to visit your future Ted talks though, thanks for the ride.

Most jerk is already very tough to eat. Even if a wish turned out slightly bad I would make the best of it.
@@kashsmith6181 The US currency in the bank account would be limit less. The value would remain the same unless I saturated the local economy by spending Trillions of dollars per day. Which I wouldn't do. I would simply move dollar amounts into other accounts and invest in other business stocks to generate revenue naturally..If you deposited half a million dollars into a checking account with 5% interest.

I remember subscribing 4 or 5 years ago, when your channel was still at its very beginning, and just adoring the long format movie reviews you made that were better than the movies themselves. While you were building your channel, I finished college and began gradschool, and it’s weird to stick around for so long with a youtube channel, but it is just a testimony to how amazing you do your work. It is sad to see these reviews to go, but everything you created has great re-watchability, so I am happy I can always go back and enjoy some of my favorite reviews like the Big Foot one (ah, it’s so freaking good!). Anyway, thank you for all the content, and best luck with everything that you are up to!
This was truly a bittersweet video and I'm left with only thanks, thank you for devoting so much time and effort to the somewhat fruitless endeavour of RU-vid reviewing. Thank you to your marvellously editted videos which have not only educated myself and others about film techniques but consistent enjoyment, and finally thank you patrons, thank you for giving Ralph the continued ability to create these wonderful essays. I love that the last movie review is of Justice League. Mostly cause it's poetic he said he'd never do another superhero movie review again. And now....it'll be the last one we ever get. Good way to go out man. Can't wait.
it would actually make an interesting movie if you consider ralph's wishes. like, a Death Note style cat-and-mouse, where innocent people are murdered for the greater good. does the end justify their unwilling sacrifice? and the main protagonist slowly turns into the antagonist (a la light yagami)

Shame one of the last true content creators on here is moving on from his reviews. But, huge props to you for chasing your dreams dude. I wanna be a film director one day as well, and it really does consume all of your time. The fact that you can get out Ralph videos and legitimate films at the same time is really impressive in all honesty. You'll be dearly missed, but you left us with a mountain of timeless content. As Nic Cage once said in his Tarrantino demo reel "Sepe was THE best, THE king" I'm really gonna miss Ralph tearing apart rubbish films while firing off non-stop skits and fantastic analysis. Here's the thing: Whenever I imagine myself making any kind of "wish" like a genie lamp type wish or monkey's paw, etc. I immediately consider that I would write it in such a way as to avoid any loophole bullshit and then get a lawyer to look over it beforehand.
