Don't look back and be sad. Look back only to glimpse at what took time and space in their lives. It is the beauty of years of discipline and grace that you have seen. It is not the future that we can see nor should we project but our accomplishes and those of others that are memorable and bring pleasure to the hearts.
This is PERFECTION. It is a perfect mastery of the Art of Figure Skating. The way Scott and Tessa touching each other's bodies shows the great connection and the intimacy, that exists between each other's bodies. And, it seems clear that this choreography represents the situation of their relationship at that moment, and in which Scott had already publicly presented his fiancée, since the choreography ends not with a hug, but with Tessa and Scott moving away from each other. This figure skating pair is unique in the history of figure skating for the way in which Scott and Tessa theatricalize their performances.

Those of us that love Scott and Tessa are sad we won't be seeing them perform together any more. I guess they had to retire after 22 years together and get on with their lives. We still wanted them to love each other for real and get married. I guess they are like some married folks that get divorced after 22 years of being together.
They will have their memories and the the beautiful years they had just as two people that got divorced thank you for letting me share it was wonderful
Thank you for uploading this video. Watching them makes me sad because they are already retired. Thanks for these memories left. Memories worth remembering. I get goose bumps every time they skate. I am 86 and have been a fan of figure skating for many years, but these two, along with Charlie and Meryl, And Katia and Sergai have always had that extra “something”
