One of.....no! This IS the finest twin guitar band of all time. And a great Thank You to Andy Powell! He has saved the band and their fantastic music with his head held high.
It's unfortunate that the original members kind of can't stand each other. Andy is a great musician for sure, as far as who's "right" and "wrong", I can't say. I don't know what went on between Martin Turner and him, especially.
We saw Wishbone Ash just 2 nights later at Skippers Smokehouse in Tampa. Argus in its entirety and then a longer set after a short break. The Smokehouse was rocking!!!! I must say Mark Abrahams has brought a lot to the band...he fits right in there..:)
I'm SO glad these guys are still jamming. They were a big part of our soundtrack growing up through, and coming of age in the 1970s. Great memories of better days in Granada Hills, California.
So good to see Wishbone Ash at the Funky Biscuit ! Let Boca Raton be British Invaded ! And Mark Abrahams on the guitar ... OMG !!! So delicious. Many Thanx !!!

Wow, epic!!! A spiritual experience in itself! The band really took us on a journey with this one! Songs rarely do that to me, but "Phoenix" brought tears to my eyes. Andy Powell's fist pump at the end says it all! Great job, guys! Top notch band. Well deserved standing ovation! I'm sorry to say I had not heard of Wishbone Ash before. Thank you @datflys and The Funky Biscuit for sharing these truly magical moments with us and keeping the blues and rock music alive. Will keep an eye on their tour dates to hopefully can catch them live some day.
