Liv fan here. Last week, we played against C.Palace and that match was one of the hardest since Klopp came to Liverpool and we won it. Against this Brentford team, i gotta say, one of the hardest match as well that ended up a draw. Fairplay to Brentford manager, the players, the staff and the fans. Of course we wanted the win but we were outclassed by them and i think our defense was not good enough but overall, what a game.

Sloppy defending from Liverpool... Too much confidence maybe because they learnt Chelsea and Man Utd lost.. kudo to Brentford.. Twice Joel Mario headed the ball backwards while leaning back and being tackled by a player not up to his height. I didn't feel their game. But Brentford has so far made a statement in the EPL.
If this was an early kick-off game, liverpool would have lost the match. Now I know why Brentford has one of the best defense system so far this season. Man City will always be Man City.. Liverpool just escaped having the same record as Chelsea this time.

@aryaman From what I saw, I could tell they meant business than Liverpool. Have you really noticed that Robertson doesn't really cross the ball into the 18yd box if there's not Mané, Firmino or Jota?? Based on my observation, I may be wrong. Anyways, I hope they get to the top of the league before Man City does, else, Liverpool will be chasing them for a good part of the season.

@@brightasomani694 if it was as simple as changing formations everyone would do it. Their manager can't coach a good defense and they don't have the quality at CB to play an effective 3-5-2. Brentford had a strong back line in the championship and made it even stronger adding Ajer. Norwich are relying on Grant Hanley who just isn't good enough.
