Love knot magic. Girls with long hair can braid even a little hidden one under in the back with items that look aesthetic but have secret witchy meanings.
lol no, knots were used to measure the nautical mile and then pitched against an hour glass to measure the time and distance. As in if it was 10 knots per the hour that would equate to be 10 nautical mph. It was used because they had no technology, other than seeing how long it took for a piece of wood to float by the whole ship. It's got nothing to do with magic spells.
I loved that!! I never realized how many (non obviously magickal) practices use this! Not sure if it's the exact same, but my brother used to be with the scouts and they have those scarves, which have a certain color combination depending on the tribe. And when they meet up with other scouts from different tribes and countries, the always take a few to trade and collect them. Once they agree to exchange it with someone, they would knot it so it can be worn around the neck and only the person who tied the knot is ever allowed to untie it. I found that such a cool thing when he first told me many years ago 😊
You should make more videos like this! I just discovered you and I love the way you describe the techniques. I invite you to make a longer video, it would be interesting to learn the history of spells and their usefulness!! And how do u use it in ur life!
I loved the video! I would love for you to do one where you explain the meaning of each item in there. And the hangings on the walls behind you, like the feather. Beautiful! Is there a meaning to the feather hanging? I'd love to do that with the ones that I find when I'm hiking, but with my 4 cats, it's impossible. All of my feathers are put away, and my altar has to be cat friendly. Bast is my main deity, so that's not really a problem!
