Probably most emotional moment in a game. You sit and you hear your own story as Geralt.

Geralt sitting there thinking "wtf Dandelion that was private" Emma Hiddleston nailed her role as Priscilla. Beautiful performance.

The attention to detail in this game is absolutely astonishing. 1. She doesn’t just walk into stage and start playing. The bar continues speaking, drinking and moving. She tunes her lute, plays a few notes to ensure it sounds proper and then plays the opening to the song. 2. When she plays, the reactions are realistic. She doesn’t sit still. She fidgets even while playing. You’ll even notice little quarter beat hiccups between some lines. Some may say that’s simply a small barely noticeable but but I say it’s a musician who is skilled but made a mistake while playing. A perfectly natural thing to do. 3. The patrons display a wide array of emotions, each one perfect for conveying the song and the many emotions it can make you feel. Wanting (the woman with the wine) love (the smooching couple) and even the polar opposites of bliss and sorrow (as seen by our favorite dwarf and the bartender respectively) even the man outside is like a first time listener. Purely curious about the beautiful tune beyond the glass. This game has surprised me more than any other

This part of the game caught me so off guard when I reached this point. I've NEVER enjoyed a song piece in game, film of tv show as much as I did here. This was absoLUTEly incredible, and makes me love the game even more than I already do.

I love the way Zoltan prods Geralt at the end as if to say, "It's a song about you, you boorish tit! The least you could do is give the lassie a round of applause. ".

This song was the reason I chose Yennefer on my first playthrough.

Geralt never flinches about anything throughout the game but when she mentions the wish,you can see how deep it affects him, if you read the books it also bring memories... That change o posture when his wish is mentioned makes this scene one of my favorites in the game.

One of those moments where you just stop. you forget you're playing a video game and just take the whole scene in, was incredible.

The moment I chose Yennefer over Triss.

Rejecting Triss was so hard, they made her incredibly beautiful in every aspect (how not to fall for her?). This song however remind me that Geralt and Jennefer are bound by destiny.

Me and my wife walked down the aisle in our wedding day to this song. It is so powerful and romantic.

I really resonate with Yennefer’s character and always choose her in the end. I see her as a woman who was trapped by a wish a basic stranger had made to be with him for her entire life. I can see why she lashed out at him even though he was trying to protect her. Even still, she loves and adores Geralt and Ciri. She’s a mamma bear, who will do anything to ensure her daughter’s safety. This song represents Geralt and Yennefer’s love so brilliantly. I remember when I first saw this I teared up, and my boyfriend danced with me in the living room as the song continued. It’s beautiful, really. It’s one of my favorite moments in any game I’ve ever played. I will never forget this song or scene.

The fact that this only plays once during the whole story just makes it **PRICELESS**

When I heard this song during my first play-through, its significance was lost on me. But when I heard this song again on my second play-through, I realized what the song was about. This game is so damn beautiful, it gives you goosebumps.

This is the moment when I realized this wasn't just a video game. This was a legitimate piece of art that gave me so many emotions. I have loved this universe ever since this very moment.

Not only is this song GORGEOUS, but I love the direction of this cutscene as all the listeners are interacting with the song in their own way. SO many stories being subtly touched upon as they all process how the song moves them.

Can you imagine yourself back to the days, when a bard dazzeled you with a completely new tune of music? A new way to project compassion and emotion, it must've been amazing to be a talented bard or scrybe back in the day.

This scene was unexpected to me. I was like, yay another thing I can go to and advance Ciri's story. And as soon as I heard the first words I was like "Damn this is really really good." This is why (in my opinion) The Witcher 3 is THE best game ever.

This song transports me to novigrad and that first sense of wonder. It makes me remember the amazing books. It makes me remember the whole quests with jaskier, yennefer and ciri. The immersion this game brings it's like living a whole other life. It's truly beautiful

This song is a work of art. The woman singing just wraps me up. I cry. She sings the song with such beauty yet it has this sub layer of heartbreak and pain. Its divine. Truly. Shes telling us a story we well know and she tells it in a way we all understand.

This is one of those moments in video games that sneak up on you. You're out there slaying monsters, completing side quests and contracts, then out of the blue you stumble into this scene and you just sit there and soak it all in. Easily one of those moments you wish you could experience for the first time over again. It's such a short scene, but it hits hard.

I played Witcher 3 as a dumb kid that doesn't understand many things and know nothing about The Witcher. But this cutscene brings so much impact to me I forgot that I was playing a game and this song echoes in my head even if I don't remember where it comes from. after going through the universe with books and previous game as an adult, it hit me how deep this song hit me and I truly regret I didn't catch most of the things in this game back then :( it's just beautiful

What can I say ... GOTY also game of the CENTURY

So, when I first heard this song, it held little meaning for me. This was my first introduction to the world of the Witcher, everything i knew about the world had come from what I had played up until this point. And since I was doing the Novigrad quests before Skellige, I had no idea how intricate Geralt and Yennefer's past was, and had no idea this song was about Geralt and Yen. I basically thought, "beautiful song, but I'm honestly itching to continue this game." And proceeded to not think much about it later. Coming back to this after playing Yen's questline in Skellige, this song holds much more meaning now.

This is a really sad moment if you choose Triss

im literally crying right now, this song is pretty much telling the love story of yennefer and geralt..

Priscila reminds me so much of Essi Daven that listening to this makes the feelings much more powerful... (If you're reading this then read the books instead of googling who she is, it will spoil a immense part of it. She appears in A Little Dedication, from The Sword of Destiny. )

I thought nothing of this song when I first played; after learning Yen and Geralt's full history, my eyes moisten every time I hear Priscilla sing

First a bard that reminded me of Essi Daven and then such a touching song...that was double KO for me...had to stop playing the game for some minutes, read A Little Sacrifice and The Last Wish and then I was able to play again. This was the moment I realized that "my Geralt" will choose Yen, not Triss.

Really this song should win in game of the year and game of the year for the Witcher 3 wild Hunt so many emotions while playing this great game

One of the best things about the Witcher 3 is how well the facial animations are done. Some games have characters that, like Conan oBrien said, have the eyes of a carp that has been in a freezer for six days, meaning they look super dead and stoic. Just look at 2:07. The girl looks so alive and real, even tho everyone can tell she's just a video game character. This small detail of making the peoples' eyes more lively does wonders to capture the player's attention.

It only makes sense that Priscilla knew of the story, since Dandelion was involved in the releasing of the Djinn, which results in Geralt's making of the "Last Wish." Undoubtedly, he saw the results of this wish and later found poetry in it. For not long after, it would happen that Yennifer and Geralt would become a pair, as well as the father and mother figures of Ciri...is it real love? Is it purely the work of the Djinn that bound their fates(a spell)? Would Yennifer have fallen in love with Geralt, had Geralt not wished it? Considering that before the making of the wish, Yennifer was only interested in him as a Witcher, and it was only Geralt that was actually fond of her. It really is poetic and a potential tragedy at the same time. The song has a lot of references to the "Wish," and often brings forth the question "is it all authentic? Or the makings of the Djinn that bound their love through spell?" It took me a long time to think of Witcher 3 as possibly dethroning Skyrim. This was the point where all denial of the possibility left me. It shook me physically.

One thing that made me down was a Witch hunter armor he was wearing, oh dear poor boy.

this beautiful moment is only more powerful after watching the 1957 Stanley Kubrick film “Paths of Glory”, the ending of which doubtlessly inspired this sequence. Similarly to this game, the scene depicts a woman singing a song to a group of people in an ugly environment, though the song itself is so beautiful that it removes the audience, for a brief moment, from their unforgiving world in which they live. One such character in both the game and film is a soldier, from outside the window, who can still hear the wonderful performance by the young woman. After the song is over, the soldier must return to his duties and life goes on as usual, but that brief moment of beauty shows the audience that mankind is capable of bringing hope and joy, even in the most dire circumstances.
