@@SheepDog-hj4jx It isn't a wedding song but you're kinda close, in bulgaria there's a tradition called Lazarovden (St.Lazarus's day) and at this day girls dress up and dance and act nicely to the boys so they like them and potentionally marry them in the future
@@sireregor6633 there are monsters that can only be hurt by silver but there are also monsters that are vulnerable to steel. sometimes wicher use steel sword for humans but this sword Is intended for monster. (Sorry for the mistakes But my English is bad)
Abigail: "What about your sword? I heard witchers carry two - a silver blade for monsters and steel for humans..." Geralt of Rivia: "Both are for monsters."
@@wiktoria2098 it was and still is a underrated cult classic, it had its flaws but also it's great moment and also without it, there would be no witcher 2 or 3, both upgrades/innovations upon each other. Hope they can keep this up with cyberpunk 2077...
@@wiktoria2098 the atmoshpere of the first game is still unmatched. Yeah, the game had its downs, but a lot of ups and a classic in my book. One of my all time favourites
Bandit 1: Isn't that Geralt of Rivia? The legendary Witcher who we just watched slay a werewolf with ease? Bandit 2: I think so, yeah. Bandit 1: LET'S GET HIM
@@RonnyWho It plays in the Velen swamplands just outside of the Crookback Bog. I've heard it more times while killing drowners and water hags than humans.
English is my first language and Steel For Humans played whilst I was fighting some bandits when Witcher 3 came out. Realized it felt like I understood words in the song and I was like, "What was that word again? Lazare?" So I searched it up on RU-vid. Ever since then, I have jammed out to Lazare, known the song, and known the lyrics.
@@kristiyangrigorov5232 All I did was listen to the song while I would cut apart humanoids and monsters with my swords and blasting them with signs. And whenever I would listen to Lazare on RU-vid, then I took a look at the lyrics and meaning. My mind was blown and I am amazed by the fact that the entire time I've been having badass fights, I've been fighting monsters to a song about a marriage.
@Exos Lorewise not really since silver swords are used in rare ocasssions and that Witcher steelsword is meteorite steel which was good for other kind of monsters but i dont know for which.
I should’ve suggested this to my friends when they got married... The groom is Polish. I know the original song’s Bulgarian, but I think he would’ve appreciated it.
"Parara ta-ii-yah, para-hi-yah" Mixed with the occasional "Parara tariira" Yeah... And when I have "banana tiger in my mind, I suddenly start hearing that...
Ok, so for those who are curious - it's based on a bulgarian folk song called Oy, Lazare (Ой, Лазаре). Lyrics: Oy Lazare, Lazare Tuka ni sa kazali Kolko liste po gora Tolkoz zdrave na taz kyshta Pyrvom tuka doydohme Moma, momche naydohme Ya momata godete Ya momcheto zhenete Translation: Oh Lazarus, Lazarus Here they told us As many leaves in a forest That much health in this house First we came here A girl, a boy we found Wed the girl Wed the boy Lyrics in Cyrillic: Ой Лазаре, Лазаре Тука ни са казали Колко листе по гора Толкоз здраве на таз къща Първом тука дойдохме Мома, момче найдохме Я момата годете Я момчето женете
Jenish Maharjan It fits the chaotic and lawless setting of Velen perfectly and it would seem out of place in somewhere like novigrad or skellige. I just which there was more to do in Velen so this track played more.
@@yaboiiiogre1332 It also represents the Bloody Baron and his wife's marriage. A boy finds a girl and all that. It makes the final swamp battle incredibly epic because the Baron does indeed find his wife again to salvage their marriage.
Oy Lazare, Lazare Tuka ni sa kazali Kolko liste po gorach Tolko zdrave na taz kyshcha Tervo tuka doydome Moma momche naydome Ya momata godete Ya momcheto zhenete (Припев) Oy Lazare, Lazare Tuka ni sa kazali Kolko liste po gorach Tolko zdrave na taz kyshcha Tervo tuka doydome Moma momche naydome Ya momata godete Ya momcheto zhenete (Припев) Oy Lazare, Lazare Tuka ni sa kazali Kolko liste po gorach Tolko zdrave na taz kyshcha Tervo tuka doydome Moma momche naydome Ya momata godete Ya momcheto zhenete (Припев) Raduvay se, raduvay Raduvay se domaki ne Kolko liste po gorach Tolko zdrave na taz kyshcha
Vaughn Monger but of course, the followers of the false emperor are no match for chaos and as such I need a small break from the crusade. They will forever know fear in the deepest part of their minds.
Vaughn Monger oh, the galaxy will indeed burn, and chaos undivided will triumph over everything. With the weapon I wield (Drach’nyen) nothing can stand in the Chaos Gods way.
I feel like fighting every monster out there, with my silver sword in hand. Every single time I hear this song I feel so pumped up I can't even get annoyed even after the tenth time repeating it.
This is amazing! I listen to the original literally every single day for the past couple of year, and I gotta admit - you did a fine job...may the Wild Hunt never catch you, wolf!
@@sonofjenova717 fuck quen its for those who cant even block or dodge. You can even counterattack monsters and thus using a better sign like aard or yrden
This song is amazing, even though it plays for certain monsters, though I understand why is because these certain monsters were once human, but now cursed to be monster And you good sir perfectly made song from a masterpiece to a Timeless masterpiece I truly appreciate you for doing this and now you have the respect of a bazelgeuse, which to be honest, is very rare and hard to get one from my species
Dandelion: "Oh, Geralt of Rivia. The white wolf with three swords." Geralt: "Three?" Dandelion: "One for men, one for monsters, and one for women." Ciri: *snort*
My dude, i love your work since you did rework on the Skellige Combat Music, and now this. Since Witcher 4 will be in production after Cyberpunk, why not try a position with CDPR? Great rework!!!
Seriously dude, been listening to your Skellige Combat Music almost all the time, and now this.. I think CDPR currently opening for applications in music arrangements? XD
