I was interested in the lighting mod at first, but that dancing scene at the end combined with the music was just magical. Haven't even seen it in-game yet. Thanks for that.
There's nothing wrong for choosing Console as long as you are happy with it. Peasants are people who spreads misinformation about other platforms to justify their choices.
Hey, can you tell me how to unninstall the 2.1 version of the mod for then install the 2.2 version, and if is necessary to unnistall the 2.1 version to install the 2.2 version ?
Konrad Szczygieł Thereby is the mod already running properly at the expansions (Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine) ? AND the mod (2.2 version) affects the base game plus DLC's right ?
Just look at the nexus page (link in the description). There are two different versions - one with Blood and Wine support, and second for base game only. Why everyone want someone else to tell them everything, when they have to go to nexus page to download mod anyway?
Absolutely breathtaking and beyond amazing! Thank you +Essenthy Onigami, for your continuous time and effort to share your beautiful work with the community!
He sets the weather to specific settings and uses certain areas to showcase the mod. I think people underestimate the amount of lighting changes there are per area in this game. You could ride from one sign post to another and have dozens of .env changes occur. This is the reason why a lot of these lightning mods are general preference, I personally much prefer vanilla as cdpr have done a better job, essenthys mod ( in 2.1 anyway) broke a lot of the games lightning settings or flat out removed them and a lot of people didn't realise because they aren't versed on how engines work properly. Regardless I can't fathom how long this must have taken him to do knowing how crap red tools are to use. It's a testament to the game really, if we had access like Bethesda offered for their games we would have some bonkers visual mods.
This mod is so damn good. This one and the increased LOD mod. These two mods alone make this game look a lot like the original E3 gameplay. Even without any reshade profile. Thank you so much for this! A bit too much desaturation in Toussaint though...
This looks much better than when I last saw it. A lot more variety this time around, and even though the fog has been lifted for much of the game to greatly improve viewing distance, there are places where fog has been left in for a necessary, creepy aesthetic. The base game had some drop-dead gorgeous lighting variety, but this looks to be catching up. EDIT: I would love to see a comparison video between this and vanilla. Pushing those draw distances out to near the horizon is really night and day. I'd imagine this is what it would've been like had CD Projekt RED been able to capture their original vision for the PC. The game still stands among the best-looking ever made, but damn, I'm a sucker for impressive draw distances. :P
+Essenthy Onigami Can you answer if is necessary to unninstall the 2.1 version of the mod for then install the 2.2 version, and if is necessary, is the mod already running properly at the expansions (Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine) ?
Très impressionnant le rendu de ton mod, je télécharge sans hésiter. Mais le mod "hairbang" modifie la physique des cheveux de Geralt que si on active hairworks ou aussi bien si on le désactive?
Essenthy great mod! I have a question, so from vanilla you lessened the fog and/or Dof? I personally prefer having the far low lods hidden so if it is lessened fog, how could I change it myself. I was using kngs Dof mod to change Dof. Also in your videos do you use any other mods or settings beyond ultra? Great mod r8 8/8 m8!!
+Essenthy Onigami So then is the fog lessened to see father? What could I use to put it back? Is it the env's. I know that ULM let's you modify that put idk if it's compatible with yours.
Hi Essenthy. I love this mod :) Thank you for the great work. I was wondering if you did any .ini tweaks as I can't get my game to look exactly like this? Mine is a little more yellow and i'm not sure why? Also what song is this? its beautiful
Salut.
I downloaded the mod -> removed using WinRAR -> give the folder -> A does not work. Older version 2.0 went well. I did it in the same way with 2.2 and nothing. Version 1.2.1 is a game. Please help
I have a weird qustion. What is the sword from the first moments of video a silver sword exactly. It looks like this one from first part of witcher and for me it looks amazing. Thanks for replies.
Can someone answer if its necessary to unninstall the 2.1 version of the mod for then install the 2.2 version, and if its necessary, is the mod already running properly at the expansions (Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine) ?
Jolie!
@ Essenthy Onigami Hey Man! its 3 years later but im looking for STLM 2.2 Version! On nexusmods its deleted. You have done such an amazing job. now im trying to recover 2015 W3 look. Can you upload it to my email? Do you stili have it , the 2.2? Please, I im looking for this mod for such long time
no, its fairly complicated to do it right, the modding tools right now dont allow me to do it how i would want to, maybe if we had Redkit, but we dont .. there are already mods that make nights darker, not sure if they compatible with STLM
I find that this mod thins out colors too much, everything looks pale and milky... Indoors don't have that cozy warm fire-lit sensation, they turn cold and murky. Additionally I use a mod that attenuates the effects of wind while outdoors "More Realistic Wind Effects" which is incompatible with this mod. Had it been compatible I'd have thought of using this mod, unfortunately I prefer less wind than milky interiors. :P
Hello Essenthy, thanks for your great mod! But I have a problem with it. When it is bad weather the lighting turns into vanilla lighting. Especially when I meditate.
Thanks for your quick answer but the problem is it doesn't change after bad weather is over. It's weird when I use debuge console to clear weather it changes to your mod lighting but when I meditate it's still vanilla lighting when clear weather
TheEgyptianOne STLM is not a sweetfx mod but it can be combined with it. Here is how you add the black bars. delightlylinux.wordpress.com/2014/01/31/sweetfx-border/
ZimpanX yea i know. I forgot how to do all of this. I actually made a video months ago showing off the cinematic mod with other mods. I have a video of it on my channel. it got good amounts of views.
hey essenthy, could you by any chance tell me how to edit Witcher 3 lighting? i would love to edit myself but i really have no idea how to, great mod btw.
@@sawatari Hey Man! its 3 years later but im looking for STLM 2.2 Version! On nexusmods its deleted. Can you upload it to my email? Do you stili have it , the 2.2? Please, I im looking for some help :)
Go to your Witcher 3 folder (steamapps / common/ The Witcher 3, if you have witcher on steam) and create a folder and name it "Mods" then simply just place the mod there.
+Essenthy Onigami First of all i think for real that you won't even read this comment but fuck this, i really wanted to congratulate you for the great job you've done, i loved it but i really wanna make a question about the 2.2 version. Why did the 2.2 version of the mod sounds like the Vanilla Lighting mainly in brighter parts of the day, while the 2.1 sounds much more vibrant just by looking at the vegetation at the general looks MUCH more colorful, and besides that ...i mean sounds like you've removed the main identity part of your mod to put it back to vanilla lighting just more brighter and optimized than the original version...i love your work and is just for that and respect that i did those questions about the drastical changes. If you read and understood what i wanted to say, thank you again...
well, there are many technical reason as to why 2.2 tend to look slightly more like vanilla than 2.0, but to be short i had no choice, i tested this for months, considering the very limited tools that i have to mod the game i had to make choices, either i fix stuff that 2.0 broke and therefore make some sacrifice or i leave it borken like that, but i kept the main goal of the mod, a more colorful ( like E3 build ) vision of the game
Essenthy Onigami Answered my question with respect... keep the amazing work on the mod and i'm pretty sure that you can reach your objectives, making the mod as it was and ready for the expansions, never give up...and again thank you so much for your time and hard work...
