@Emmerich August actually l made a fair bit of research and it seems that there is a feline monster in the witcher world , which the cat school Witchers might of used the mutagens from; werecats else none as ailouranthropes

If you do the witcher 2 save option then during the intro at Vizima you can say whether he has died already or not, and if you choose that you killed him he doesn’t show up. If you say you let him live then you can find him being hunted by bandits sent by nilfgaard and save him. By the end of the quest you can send him to Kaer Morhen.

Apparently if you tell him to stay, despite what he says, his entry updates at some point to "When Vesemir died, he took over responsibility for watching over the witchers' keep." (quote from the witcher wiki)

Just because a Witcher is “on the path” doesn’t mean they’d never return. After all, that is why Vesimir managed to survive. I don’t recall him being present when citizens rose up to attack the Witchers. So when he returned, he resumed practices - albeit without producing any new Witcher which I assume (if it’s canon) Eskel and Geralt would Then work on making Ciri into one - the first female witcher.

There is actually a fan made story which Sapkowsky allowed which is about Vesimir dying of old age in his bed.

Nah they only have extended life spans they are not immortal.

Maribor Forest Vesimir died at a little over 200 years old so by your logic he was about 20 something, he looked pretty old for twenty something in Witcher years

Someone else commented the same, I just assumed he left as at vesemir's funeral he said he planned to leave the keep, I think he said that vesemir dying was the 'nail in the coffin' or something along those lines.

The witcher 4 could possibly be about the witchers when they were at their peek usefulness. A bustling kaer morhen, with Witchers being in every kingdom from all schools.

WitcherGeorge what we need is a game where you create a character from any school and you start in their keep and would be able to go to the other ones, every place mentioned in the books and games

checkitout6944 actually there will be. CD Projekt Red stated this earlier in the year that once they finish cyberpunk they plan on making a new witcher game. But it won't be a Geralt story that's done they said.

Bioware Geek I’d rather it be as present as possible with the ability to make and customize our own Witcher all Dragon Age-like. Give us default male and female voice actors and let us choose what school we end up representing.

Fortunately that was fixed in the movie Nightmare of the wolf. Witchers were defeated because of bunch of monsters+ sorcerer's+ peasants

Well I mean, Witchers are a dying breed since monsters are nearly extinct. They could do some bs like “the portals opening to other worlds was opened a bit too long and now we need some more Witchers to deal with those monsters” (a mini conjunction of spheres whenever you go to ciri and she faces the white frost) to revive the Witcher schools.

I wonder. Apparently all of the methods for creating witchers were lost at some point. Yen seems to have re-discovered the formula for the decoction for the Trial of the Grasses, but no mention is made of the methods for applying mutagens after the decoction did its work, since it wasn't necessary to lift Uma's curse. Eskel says that they stopped taking recruits because the methods had been lost, but that Yen's discovery means they need to have a discussion about the policy. So it seems Eskel is open to the idea of reviving the school and creating new mutated witchers Lambert certainly would not go along with it, though. Even Vesemir ("I hoped I'd never have to witness this again.") and Geralt don't seem enthused by the idea. Eskel would be on his own if he decides to try. Or would he? Yen was able to recover one secret. Yen or Triss (depending on romantic choices) was able to recover information about the work of Prof. Moreau in Blood and Wine. The other secrets may be out there just waiting to be recovered by an interested mage. Moreau obviously had to know them as a foundation for his research in trying to reverse them. Given that mages are not generally known for a strong sense of morality and ethics, Eskel might be able to line up some assistance without a great deal of trouble. Would a guy who describes himself as "a simple witcher" do so?

Through pure mass and we know they the peasants were supported by mages who wanted the witcher secrets for themselves.

Also Idk if you can help me I started the Witcher 2 and I’ve got to this point where I have to talk to this guy I think he’s blind it’s near the kedweni camp his little hut is surrounded by candles and there are Harpys flying about anyway when I get to him my objective says talk to him but I don’t have the option 🤷🏻‍♂️( sorry if this is vague) I stopped playing it for a while as I was having trouble getting past this point I’ll be having another go at it and if you know what I’m talking about and have a solution to my problem the help would be greatly appreciated

Louis Loughran I had a little look online and found this *Question* - Hello im in chapter 2 and i need to speak to the visionary when i do he just repeats the same line "I awaited them, They were to come bearing gifts. I heard their cries, guess they were attacked. If they're not here, they must be dead" according to my quest objective, im supposed to speak to him but that is all he says please help *Answer* - how do you get to his place? try reaching it by walking from the army camp, just stick close to it, on the way there are two soldiers getting attacked presumably on their way to the visionary's place. just hug along the outside of the army camp to its left until you reach the hills.

Actually Coën is NOT a witcher from the school of the wolf. He originates from Poviss, the most western part of the Kingdom of Poviss and Kovir (where Triss lives after TW3). So it's quite far away, and it is never said which school he originally belonged to. The first winter he spent at Kaer Morhen was during Ciri's stay at the Keep, after Cintra was conquered by Nilfgaard. So he is "kind of" afiliated to the Wolf school witchers, but "technically" he is not one of them. He's just a good friend.

You're completely right, it'd been a while since I read that book, and it isn't ever mentioned which school he's from.

How many kids died in training before the trial? Of those who survived preliminary training, going by the list in the cave where the original Trial of the Grasses was performed, only 1 in 5 survived with mind and body intact enough for mutation and further training. Of those some died during the further training and some during the final Trial of the Medallion. (Didn't Lambert say only two in his group returned from that?) Of those "graduate" witchers, according to Lambert, most died to some drowner during their first year on the Path. As a statistician, I would have to pass on those odds. :) Sounds like maybe 1 in 100 live long enough to become an Eskel or Lambert, much less live long enough to become a Vesemir.

Letho used two swords as a way to fight Geralt because in past experiences (the witcher at the end of the witcher 1) school of the viper witchers duel wielding haven't performed to well against him. Lethos original fighting style was duel wield, if you watch the start of my school of the viper video you will see what I mean. I guess Letho just decided to continue to use two swords, as they are better for him.

If I do a playhrough (which I will try to do at some point, I just require a better mic haha), I would like to start from the witcher 1, carry my save to the witcher 2 and then carry that save to the witcher 3!

Damn haha, I also much prefer the Zerikanian bay, What i'd like to do is start on the witcher 1 and carry my saves over to 2 and then 3, having all the games on pc allows that amazing benefit. I think it would feel like a proper story that we are all doing together, from start to end.

I'd say that witchers have better eye sight in the dark then the average human, but in total darkness, perhaps the cat potion does just as you suggested
