Here is a chilling true story for a dark winter evening. Watch it on Halloween only if you are not of a nervous disposition. You may consider it unsuitable for children. Don’t believe Ghosts and witches really exist? If you watch until the end you may change your mind.

Well that was unexpected, though very well done. I can see a new RU-vid channel in my crystal ball!!! Awesome to see some local history. I still tell school kids here in my school in Sydney about the village of Eyam in Derbyshire and its end to the Black Death.

Thank you Neil. I like to be a little unpredictable. You’ve given me food for thought regarding Eyam. I could find out where the Flower family lived but, as you know, the original plague cottages at Eyam are still lived in. On the subject of Sydney. While there I found the record of one of my ancestors who had his death sentence commuted to transportation and is listed as a resident of the Hyde Park Barracks. Enjoy your summer 👍

I’d say that’s an honour, Nick., I only have a convict ancestor, and he really was wrong’un. Since making this I’ve found that many of the locals had no idea about these events.
