Good advice - most notably it helps enormously at the start with not having to cleanse items and therefore slows down the calamity progression which can be a real pain when you are starting out.
Fantastic video, thank you! Exactly the kind of information I was looking for. Played for 5 hours today, started as Butcher and mainly leveld Vitality, Endurance and Healing. Now I know I have to focus fully on Witchery and Metanoia (and maybe even luck). Better late (level 17) than never I guess :D Love the game but they explain the mechanics about as well as FromSoft does with souls - which doesn't bother me - but makes videos like yours an absolute godsend for people with little time on their hands to figure it out by themselves

Shadow has the lowest stamina and healing healing out of all classes and low health like the Pentinent or Saint. You get a medium range weapon but a CQB spell (which by the way, at full release was given as a starting spell and nobody really liked it so the Devs changed it to the fireball spell- and since new players didn't like it then, I think new people will not like it now). Go for the Saint, Ricochet will feel much more organic to new players and the first upgrade saves you Ammo. You get a Demonic Weapon which can clear out all the smaller camps for you and the Demonic Ammo isn't wasted when you find some). You get a relict that does tick damage to whoever hurts you and you get the Ice Sphere which gives you protection from ranged enemies and freezes anyone who gets close. In the first map you'll find a fire spell which even synergizes whith Ice. The negatives are: You need to level a few more times before you can research and that you get no headstarts into a stat. But you get increased luck, meaning you'll get better drops and less calamities.
Healing is a useless stat, because of Henbane. Metanoia will give you at least 3 levels on your first run, so you can pump vita to 12 or 15 so fast. The rest of the argumentation is fine - i don't play demonic weapons at all and i don't recommend players to rely on them too much. But you got a point here! Even the start with penitent is fair because of Hunger ... :) so it's all personal preference!
@@chr_isso But you recommend a "Starting Class". Healing is an important stat until you get henbane especially for a new player who will struggle with pretty much everything in the game. Unfortunatly many people forget how it actually is playing a game for the first time and how long leveling takes when you don't know how to deal with things. Greetings, DerKaiser.
it all comes down to personal preference. butcher starts with too much vita and endurance imho and not enough metanoia and witchery. i also don't like Midas too much - so for a new player, i don't find it ideal. but it all comes to the same at the end, every class will work :)
I would recommend to start as Penitent with nothing - provides the best levelling fun starting with nothing but Hunger. You dont need the starting benefits of the other "classes". Don't know why they bothered to include them. Great videos by the way on your channel - very helpful.
I would also add that all classes have the same amount of stat points. The only difference is in the distribution of points and the starting set of weapons.
i just did 4 runs, 1 wipe 3 extractions and boss ready for the next run. I cant be more hyped bru :o my 3 favourite generes in one and seems to have little details and sectres to discover that i love >3< sukoeee thanks for the tips!
@@chr_isso And probably even higher dificulty levels with more stuff :P Atm im still kinda lost and farming (probably bad xD) I have a ton of questions xD ... but the only real one atm, should i go to rank II in dificulty or stay in 1 for a bit ? I struggling in the second map just at rank I, i always trigger those dam eyes and there is a lot of stuff in the map or interactives that i still dont know how to deal with or what are they for xD ... Also, didnt meet the boss yet :P im farming a bit i guess xD just unlock the sniper to farm that Parca for T2 upgardes x,x

Nah no skins in the game. It doesnt really matter which class you start with, its just about your starting gear! In the long run all classes are the same!
The greatest content so far for this game thanks mate. I have a question. I'm lvl50 Shadow: 20 Vit / 8 Heal / 25 End / 16 wtch / 30 Meta / 10 Luck. So after your guide, i might keep vit & end at 15 and pour those 15 extra points to withcery. Do you think it's worth starting over with a new char?

Yes, you will get every update and therefore will have the full game once it's finished in 2025. You just get to play earlier! Buy it mate, it's worth it!

Same thing happened to me with a 4070 and 5700x , changed from borderless to full-screen and I had like 300+ fps on ultra seems like maybe a bug or something? Idk but i switched back to borderless and it worked without any issues seems like it's just on startup
