Canberra band Witchskull performing their track March of Winter, from their album A Driftwood Cross, live at the Basement on Saturday 23rd May 2020.
This was Canberra's first live gig, after 2 months of lockdown restrictions, caused by Covid-19.
The show was billed as "An intimate evening with Witchskull", and saw 10 patrons individually seated, in what would normally be a moshpit filled with a sea of eager metal-heads all rocking along to the heavy wall of sound produced by the band.
Each patron was served a meal and drinks by wait staff while they awaited the start of the show. As the band took to the stage and the first note was hit, the room started to physically rumble, and we all knew that Witchskull was about to start....
