I've bought Tarot of Vampyres in 2014. After trying to bond with it every year during autumn, this year we finally hit it off. It's been quite a journey but I am so happy I didn't give up on this deck
The Samahain oracle has amazing spreads! I never everrr used the guide book spreads, so I "just" chose to do "Interview Your Deck Spread", and in the first question: "what personality does this deck have?" the card that jumped was "Haunted", I thought she's kind of sarcastic... love it! 🖤
Great video. I agree will all of your top 3 decks. I've had my Tarot of Vampyres since 2013 and it is always on my working altar. Dark Wood Tarot I've only had a short time, but I love it. I'm obsessed with Seasons of the Witch Samhain Oracle. I've only had this oracle deck for a few weeks, but it has become very important to me.
Nice! Thank you for sharing, your videos are definitely my goto for Lucy decks prior to purchase. I have been using Les Vampires most of the year, but certainly looking forwards to pulling out the seasons of the witch & Stacey demarco's Halloween oracles.
I love fall (as an ex- new englander from MA) and am very new to tarot and oracles and this is my first fall as a tarot reader! So thanks for the recommendations and tips. I now have a few Lucy / Jasmine decks and am waiting for the dark wood and seasons of the witch decks but was very excited to see your whole lineup! I have been watching your videos and love your spirit and depth. Thanks for bein you!!!
The very first time I did a reading with Les Vampires, it very clearly spoke about one of the major issues from my childhood and gave me a better understanding as to why things happened the way they did. I was stunned to be honest. Haunted House tarot is a favorite of mine, I wish they could have written a big guidebook for it because it is such a great story!
Last month (August 2021) I used The Tarot of Vampyres and The Samhain Oracle and honest to goodness I have never learned so much about myself and actually wrote poetry (I never write poetry, ever) I would definitely recommend both and using them together. Also, as a side note, the people who made the Samhain Oracle are making all 8 Sabbats I think. The Yule Deck is coming out this year (2021).
I ADORE your picks…, I have the Samhain Oracle & just got the Dark Wood tarot recently… I plan to use them alongside my favorite, the Santa Muerte tarot deck & Halloween Oracle duo as we get closer to Halloween time. 🎃 For September I like the Arthur Rackham tarot & Faerie Oracle with illustrations by A.R. that matches it! Love your style & your videos!
My favorite video series! I remember when you first started doing these was the same time I started developing a more intentional relationship with cartomancy, and I definitely feel like your content has really helped guide my taste in decks. Happy spooky season 🎃💜✨
I love your list there is a few I do not have so I put them on my list. Thank you for going over all the decks you like to work with and your enthusiasm that you share with us.
I've been on the fence to buy the "Seasons Of The Witch Oracle" but not anymore after this video! I'm going to go ahead and buy it along with the "Wild Magic" coloring book by Selina Fenech! Thank you! 🖤🎃🌙
I also wasn't a super fan of this deck but last year I just, was called to it and honestly it is the best deck. It always tells me whats up. Also, there is now a Yule deck and next year, there will be a Beltane deck
I can totally relate when you say that the energy feels like we need to turn inward. I’ve been doing more introspection this time. Mary El or Santa Muerte didn’t get in the list?
@@owlmoon513 , I guess they’ll arise from the dead (or vacation) and haunt us on October. Hehehee. I agree that those decks are a perfect fit for October.
Ok, I have a question that I didn't understand how to ask about the The Vampyre Tarot deck by Ian Daniels, until just now. I have the deck and have tried to read the guide book and I can see why you would say to read the book because it's so full of insight and information, but some of what the book talks about is over my head. May I ask what books on the side you would recommend regarding the intertwining meanings Mr. Daniels put in the guide book? Something for people who wish to get deeper into the guide book, but find it a bit heady at the start. I realize possibly a book on the Qabalah might help, or astrology (I cannot get astrology it's very heady for me at this time.) I'm wondering what you might recommend if anything for people like me who find such heady material difficult to dive into without being frustrated. Thank you. And I love your channel especially when you go over decks for Shadow Work and the Fall season. I don't know how many decks I have bought from your recommendations, but quite a few to be certain. 😄
I really enjoy these videos. I have some of these decks. Love how you identify these card decks as "she". Are there any you consider "he"? Gods & Titans Oracle would be one.
I adore the hush tarot, but I hate the lack of men in the deck. I deeply dislike people whining about gender and race in an artist's personal work....so I don't wish to change it or rag on anyone, it just is what it is I guess. 😆
