I can't really put my finger on why this is, but this gives me more of a “Mage's Nook” feeling. 🤔 Don't get me wrong, I love it. I love witches/wizards, sorcerers/sorceresses and mages as long as they do good. 💜☺️

Thank you so much! Oooo I had a ton of fun with these colors! They usually don't perform as well for me as warm colors (for some reason-RU-vid's weird), but it's fun to play with purples and blues anyway. Hope you're having a splendid October so far!

I really love purples and blues too! (But for some reason whenever I use them in ambiences that video performs badly, so I use this palette sparingly, lol!)

@@AutumnCozy That’s interesting… I’ve always wondered why more creators don’t use them but makes sense now. Halloween is a great time for purples and blues! Another idea is to incorporate them into the sky. Night sky, rainy night with lightning… just a thought

@@AutumnCozy OMG, one of my favourite things to do is fog up the kitchen on fall evenings-like Halloween night! Boiling pasta or potatoes, or having multiple pots evicting steam; it's already dark out, the bare windows are steamed up with condensation, making everything cozy... I love it! Then when I open the door for kids, they get a blast of humid air that warms them a little, and without fail, they say, I like your birds! (It was dog, before Lucy passed.) When the light is shut off, I make a plate and eat in the rec room while watching a scary movie. We're watching The Fall of the House of Usher show now. I could watch Hill House again, easily, too. And 70s and 80s horror. ANYWAY. I don't necessarily live in the past, but nostalgia is one of my greatest comforts! I love that you're inspired by the NOLA suggestion! I always picture those awesome vault cemeteries, where crispy leaves swirl on the paths and there are attached vases with mostly dead flowers, but here and there a surprising fresh bunch... and small, dark, veiled shops on narrow streets overlooked by terraced balconies. Inside the shops, the wood creaks and things hang from the ceiling, and there's cool mystical, magical, natural, supernatural stuff everywhere, and then a small round table where you have your tarot cards read-or make a deal with the voodoo queen...

Ah, love all this! I want to try the steam thing now. I could read your descriptions forever-you NEED to write a book some day! P.S. I always think there's SUCH a difference between living in the past (something I actually loathe and think is quite unhealthy-besides, I'm always excited about the *now* and what's to come!) and letting yourself indulge a _wee_ bit in that feeling of nostalgia for little flickers of heartwarming past memories. 🤗
