In Indonesia, 25 million people are still categorised as poor, living in hardship and suffering with more than 5 million orphans who need the helping hand of muzaki. The year 2024 has strategic significance for Indonesia.
In moving towards the Golden Indonesia of 2045, Indonesia is still facing the challenge of rampant gender-based violence. Domestic violence often occurs in various places in Indonesia, child bullying is common, and child marriage is rampant here and there.
West Nusa Tenggara currently has the first rank for the province with the highest child marriage in Indonesia with the existing "merariq kodeq" - child marriage culture.
Islamic Relief Indonesia and all parties involved in this event had the opportunity to receive a visit from world humanitarian icon, Dr Hany El-Banna, a renowned humanitarian activist and founder of Islamic Relief Worldwide and Humanitarian Forum.
His presence this time aims to oversee the noble movement in this event to stop the various sufferings that occur due to armed conflicts and natural disasters exacerbated by the effects of climate change in various parts of the world!
