What a beautiful human being. I became interested in him because I love his Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold character on Once Upon a Time, but have discovered that he is far more than just an incredible actor; he's an incredible person, with a beautiful and indomitable spirit.
I adore him! Incredible man. Rare are those who know fame and have stayed humble and true to themselves. He is unique and he will be in my heart always. We need more human beings like him.
This is truly a beautiful and touching story. To come from such humble beginnings and transform himself into the magnificent actor (and person) he is today is amazing...it's absolutely brilliant! I agree with the comment, that people aren't laughing now when they hear about his portrayal of Rumpelstiltskin...NO ONE and I do mean NO ONE could do a better job than Robert Carlyle. That part was made for him and he's simply FANTASTIC!
I kinda teared up a bit when he mentioned that bit bout gettin that rock off your shoulder and just move on. It really hits home yknow? Bravo, sir, bravo. I guess my faith in this world has been restored after all...
This man is incredible. He is so passionate, caring and humble. An idol for any kids today. His advice and compassion made me cry. We all have issues and like he said 'best to get the rock off your shoulder when it's a pebble'. Great advice Mr Carlyle. Wish he was my life coach! :) And Once Upon A Time is incredible of course my favourite is Rumpel/ Mr Gold and the love of Rumbelle
This guy has had such a versatile career in such interesting movies both Big and small. Of course like many my introduction to him was as the villain Renard in the James Bond movie The world is not enough over 20 years ago. But since then I've seen him in so many other things since then.
I've seen all of your vids with Mr.Carlyle. What a lovely person. So down to earth. His Rumple is both horrible and hilarious at times. Love what he brought to the character.
He sounds so embarrassed about Once Upon a Time--it's kind of adorable. It's a great show, and you can tell he's excited about doing it--but the premise does sound a bit ridiculous when you say it out loud.
I just finished watching the Hamish MacBeth series that Robert did. What an enjoyable series. The characters are so loveable and perfectly acted. The humor is so warm and the photography in the scottish countryside is beautiful and wild. I was sad it was over when I came to the final episode.
I LOVE THIS GUY HES SO AWESOME! I watch Once Upon a Time just because of him :D, I like the show its self but I love it when Rumple or or Mr. Gold are present.
And then Once Upon a Time became a huge success and everyone fell in love with Rumple. XD Not only is Robert certainly one of the best actors who's ever lived, but he almost sounds like a stellar human being in general. Gotta love him.
