I was close to Christina at some point in 2011, and I tell you guys, this girl was the best thing that ever happened to me. She opened her world, not only to me but a bunch of other fans and we all became so close. She was genuinely an amazing artist, but as a person, she was even better. We got to know her, chat with her, meet her, and I speak not only for me but for everyone she was always there. Always. No matter her how busy her schedule was, she always found time to cheer her fans up and tweet them. And during the years, me and Christina lost touch a bit, but she never stopped being there for me when I needed her. I'm so happy to say that a few months before the tragedy we chatted one last time, and got to remain all of the memories we shared through the years and I will forever be thankful for that. I love you Christina, I miss you. And I love you guys for doing that for her. Christina was never the type of person to ask for things, but she would have probably cried in front of this.

Amen, I know she loved Jesus with all her heart. Most of the time she was spending it on the word of God and always wanted to know more with who God really was personally for herself. She is a great role model and Cimorelli are too. This day and age people don't know what respect is, kindness is, loving you're neighbours is and last of all what true love is. Yeah, love is used a lot but sometimes not for what love actually means or not in the right way it was for. Gods love is sooo beautiful, he loves us all no matter what. Jesus has saved me. I still have bad days (who doesn't) though praying and reading the word encouraged me in my faith in Christ to become loving and a servant like what he was on earth. The days on earth are passing it's sell by date, Jesus is coming back for his church. Be prepared and ready everyone. No one knows the day, month, year or time of when but by the signs of things, The world is getting worse everyday, Like it says in the book of revelation. Love y'all!

Such a sweet tribute! 7 years ago, when I was a mere 13 year old who had trouble getting to sleep, I would go on RU-vid. One night, i found two RU-vid channels I fell in love with.. do you know how grand pianos work...? there's no volume.. it's not electric. it's virtually impossible to feel the music and play quietly unless you wanted the cover to sound mechanical. ahah no hate, just letting you know if you didn't already. and yes, great job!!
+wild So? The piano can be played more quietly by pressing the keys softer. And I don't get how playing the piano softer would cause it to sound "mechanical". The piano does not only operate at one volume either, controlling it is just more manual than an electric keyboard. And I agree with the OP, at parts, for eg. the chorus and some verses, the piano is a distraction and makes hearing the harmonies a bit harder. It muffles their singing. Also, it's not like the acoustics that where they're filming is particularly great... The piano playing could've and should've been softer at parts.
i agree with you at some points, however as someone who has played piano for 16 years, i just feel as though you should be able to play the music however you are able to put some emotion into it, and if she prefers to play louder then she shouldn't change it. yes, it could've been softer in parts, however in my opinion, and with my experience of the piano, if you don't play something how you want to play it, you sound mechanical.
I don't really know about the techniques to play a piano, but what i actually meant was, that i don't like the echo in those kind of covers.... it's too loud and you can't hear their beautiful harmonies!!

This is incredibly sweet and such a beautiful tribute. I unfortunately never got to meet Christina, but she inspired me through her videos. I watched her from the very beginning and I miss hearing her voice, seeing her on social media, and her inspiring words in interviews, online, etc. Even though she was a bit younger than me, I looked up to her with how she lived her life and shared her faith. She was someone I felt like I knew and I still miss her. I am sorry that y'all lost a friend. I know she would have appreciated this so much. God bless y'all.

It inspires just how many people she inspired. How many original songs people wrote to pay tribute to her probably hundreds. Then, of course, how many covers people did in her honor. This situation makes me sooo sad. You know what's funny. I only heard about her after she died. Then I went back to check out her stuff and was like wow.. she's so talented, consistently positive irl and on RU-vid... she goes out of her way to make sure everyone is having fun. Harry potter is Better than twilight yeah i know that, but the girl was talking about "2014: old Cimorelli, no autotune, acoustic", which is ironic because that was the year they did the least amount of live covers during the entirety of their youtube career.
They have been more focused on original music and touring the last couple years. So, they have less time to devote to the arranging and practice required to pull off these kind of videos. But, this is the style that made Cimorelli famous and that their old time fans like me will always love.

Wow, your voices made this song even better!! I loved Christina with more than just my heart, more than just my soul, but with love, I loved her like she was my "sister". When I first saw her, I was so amazed by her beautiful voice. Then I saw her grow, and grow. Won 3rd on The Voice, and I was very upset she didn't win but she grew on from there too!! When I was camping is when I heard Christina passed away from a gun shot, I didn't want to cry in front of everyone (my cousins and fam) but I tried so hard not to, when I heard about it, I'd didn't know what happened, who did it, where it happened, but when I did I was very upset and got emotional, everyone was doing tributes, originals for Christina, and my heart felt warm, my heart was alive again. Christina was the biggest inspiration to me, she was my life hero, my funny moments 😆 but now we can't see her on stage anymore, we can't see her new originals, or her funny moments.
