How wonderful to see the paddleouts' good turnout, which would be expected. Critique for Hawaii News Now: Clearly your news camera operator [or his / her producer who was instructing via earphone] was seduced by the thrilling sight and sound of the approaching, passing, circling, loud helicopter. That avoidance of water level view turned out to be quite annoying for the viewers who wanted to witness HNN's paddleout coverage; the vista, panorama, the 'big picture.' Mahalo for the 'heads up' on the emotional, respectful, ceremonial dropping of roses from the copter. However, when the tossing of flowers finally did occur the distance, helicopter to camera, was considerable so nothing of any meaning was seen. "Maui Strong"
