Minister makes a lot of sense. Lot of business owners, schools and various shops pay their employees in cash and avoid minimum wages. Pvt. Schools are open secreat in this type of not paying min. wages to teachers. In city like Delhi people keep fulltime maids at home and pay them in cash and avoid min. wage.

I don't mind standing in queue if I get my money. But the banks are out of cash for the last 8 days. non of the ATM are working. One or two ATM which are working are only accepting nationalised banks ATM only. I am in Imphal. We don't have any card facilities. Where will i get my money from?? Will Modi mail me??

STATUS::::::Today 50 days over but not even 25%(~66,000) of ATM has 24X7 cash ready. What about benefits 1. capturing Black Money(7.8 trillion Rs.)/ Terror funding every year(~2 billion rs.) / mall practicing each year (< 100 Cr.) the ED department has not even open any account for this category cash; currently all captured money in 586 raids 3000Cr Rs. is kept in strong rooms and cases are being registered (already 36 lakh cases are pending across country courts; only in Supreme Court 64,000 cases/only 5K are considered being inactive cases; so almost over 90% volume is active cases) so negotiations would be by election most cases would get withdrawn to get rid of Kachahari and return to routine corrupt life; so in short zero achievement 2. large tax base would not happen as on every 2000 thousand rupees the economic policies(back doors) are maintain to skip tax in each sector/domain; 3. changing the color of currency would be another bandar baat as the areas(primary sectors/foreign account linking on Arunanchal/Pak/Bangladesh/Nepal borders/ paisa harkara) which were prone from old notes now would maintain the new color notes as the general belief "new notes are WHITE"; 4. cashless country is another big dilemma as does all 93 Banks in India has digital infrastructure(probably large data centers) to save/tracking & even more over finding/detecting the BLACK DIGITS; no never in India where every one is born for doing mistakes. The exercise is only about benefiting sick Banks and further it will be filling cash boxes of Kachcha/Pakka khata of secondary manufacturing hub & bigger Lohar/Kapda/Chamda/Lakdi/Patthar providers. Of course they would in return provide more jobs and better finished goods(to increase saving index of individuals) but but after filling their own cash drawers first; but lets pause; how much time for this cycle; it would take another 10-15 years to return an actual note deposited in bank between 8n-30dec with no. DXX DDDDDD; till the digital 0/1 note. The only change we would see till next 5-10 years, the more individuals(~total 9Cr out of current 3.6Cr) would get alerts from IT in every financial year end(December) and govt would chop off the middle > lower middle wallets to cook different menu every year. SOLUTION::::::For 1; strict punishment; as China has filled the jails with 40,000 corruptors in 2003-2007 & on similar lines in Hongkong; For 2; tax from lower/middle/ upper middle can never be paid 100% in such a society where the upper/super upper people & rulers has tendency to stock/block the money for 3-4 generations and making economic policies in their favor. Rules can not force fair taxation; anti-rule would get devised immediately; some kind of assurance(as in US govt would fill stomach conditionally/even unconditionally in Sweden/Denmark). So solution is ethics. Actually the German are working on new proposals as to divert the bulk flow of money instead of Treasury->Ruler->Public, it should be Treasury->Public+Treasury->Ruler. For 3; punishment; For 4; Tracable digital platform with transparency available to public to detect Black Digits.

West Bengal govt should watch this interview. financial minister has given simple way to answered all those questions on demonestation of big notes. I think they would have get enough reason why govt of India has banned big notes am very pleasure to watch this interview.

All said and done please do not let poor people suffer and stand in queue I agree with the intention of government pleases do not tell people it is going to take time to print new notes I mean a hard currency in India what happen to people living in villages those who are not familiar with the system are they briefed and taught how this is going to effect there living today I am all in support of this action of Modi govt but general public should not suffer any more and have to make sure there is enough cash in bank to disperse money to really deserving people other wise people who are so understanding what present govt is trying to do loose there cool and take law in there hand my humble request is to the govt please do not let ordinary citizen of the country to suffer any more

Hi Jaitley sir,I think the next step would be the mandatory use of debit and credit card if the purchase is more than 100 Inr at any shops.

i saw Arun Jaitley and nirmala sitharaman recent debates arun jaitley is really calm and compose is presentation while niramala sitharama is really kind of stiff n arrogant politician must have behavior that keeps people cosy around so you can ask questions even its tough and difficult
