Mary Jane has been sewing, quilting and embroidering for many years. Nevertheless, she had respect for the new machine: "I thought maybe I might be intimidated by the B 990… not at all, it took me about two minutes, and I thought I can do this."
Sewing is a hobby that can create truly special moments. Not only can you make beautiful and useful things with your own hands, but you can also create special moments that enrich your life. Mary Jane's favorite part is when a project is finished and can be passed on to someone else: "I love being able to give something that I’m so proud of to my family members who I love so very much."

Not crazy about the looks. Nice to see Bernina catching up to other machines. The camera, pinpoint placement and scanning I have had on my 10 year old machine. I do like my Bernina 830 LE and now that the 990 has some of the features of my older machine I will be looking at purchasing the 990. Great job caching up Bernina!

Hi there, thanks for your feedback! Yes, please do check out the BERNINA 990 and share your experiences with us. There are so many great new new features, like the BERNINA Integrated Stitch Regulator BISR, the size of the GIANT Hoop, Jumbo Stitches, the space to the right of the needle, etc. The BERNINA 830 LE was and still is a great machine, but the B 990 takes sewing, quilting and embroidery to a whole new dimension in many ways.

Go to your BERNINA dashboard. There is a new video showing the machine. At 12:30 pm central another video will be available.

Hi Donna, thanks for your kind words! The maximum embroidery field with the new Giant Hoop is 16.1" x 12" (410x305 mm) which means you can embroider a full 12" x 12" quilt block - or more ...

Just another screwed up launch by Bernina. What an embarrassment! It was 10:30 central - now 12:30 don’t know the time zone. HP should be very ashamed of this mess.
