Ah , a Comet and in very nice condition. Well restored. There was one on gate guard at Detmold in Germany. This had tracks and sprockets welded after an evening drive through town without permission! Like the ‘Bren Carrier’ as well!

Actually it is a Cromwell that was converted into a Charioteer then back to a Cromwell, it still has the larger Charioteer ring used for the 20 pounder, hence the higher turret.

cool! at the Rock Island Arsenal outdoor display is a Sherman that was knocked out in the battle of the bulge...

The first tank is a Cromwell, not a Comet (Restored by the Vehicle Restoration Center of the MRA-KLM) ;-)

its a cromwel not a comet the comet has cristie suspension with return rollers !!! this was changed because of track slack ( tracks slamming in to the fenders) at high speeds
