I purchased this yesterday, and it arrived today, and I couldn't be more pleased. This watch looks and feels amazing. The simplicity of it from an esthetics perspective was exactly what I was looking for, while it intelligently monitors everything a typical smartwatch can; hands down extremely pleased! Thank you again for the review. There aren't that many reviews of this watch -- a good handful, but not as many as the other big names.
Hi. Thank for a fantastic and easy to follow review. I retired my Withings Steel HR recently. It had served me well for 3 years no issues. Battery could go +3weeks easily. Looking forward to getting this scanwatch as an upgrade. Will let you know how it goes for me
Setting this up was a nightmare, you get stuck in a never ending loop if you have a gmail account and want to register with a hotmail account, had to use my work email address which is not ideal. Just got this yesterday and so far liking it, I have had 2 heart operations (ablations and removal of a myxoma) and have AF and sleep apnea so getting this watch to monitor changes is very important, will be interested to see how HR results compare with my portable Emea ECG monitor.
Thank you for sharing your experience! What I most like is the battery life, the simplicity, and being able to share valid medical data with my doctor. I wish you the best!
You scroll down to the Clock option, then you select Timer and then you adjust the timer time with the crown. Then, you press the crown to start the timer. And no. It doesn't keep in memory the time you selected for the timer to use in another situation. It always shows 00:00 as the default value.
Hi, i’m thinking of getting one. How’s the readability of the black dial, are the hands easy to read in most light conditions? I’m leaning towards the white one but i’m not sure if that one is harder to read?
Hi! I haven't experienced any issues with the readability in normal conditions. Because there is no luminescence on the dials, you have also the digital display. I prefer the black dial because it conceals the digital black dial. I find it too obtrusive in the white dial.
@@VMCWD thank you, i just went with the black dial. Eta is around September 2nd. Hope I can make the ecg work as I'm from the Philippines and I don't see it as one of the supported regions. The unit I ordered online is from Hongkong so I really hope it works. Cheers
@@user-ge5lr3qb6d in my opinion there are six reasons for the final cost of a product: 1. Production cost; 2. Shipping cost; 3. Target market; 4. Internal politics of the producer (profit, etc.); 5. Taxes; 6. Consumer demanding. There is such a difference between Arabic countries that I have no particular opinion on that. You can always search for the price in a reseller for your country or do an online purchase from other store. One thing I can tell you. You won't regret. It's a great watch! 😉
