I have that same thought during every expert-doctor-witness i have seen thus-far!! Mind boggling when thinking about all people that were either convicted, or exhonorated because of 'evidence' of a questionable nature, but totally believed by the 'law' and judiscianal systems..(!!!)

If you can pay enough for her meal and drinks, she says everything you tell her to say, it seems. All she said was, that Amber had most of the keyelements that indicate that she is the victim of an abusive partner, with the symtomps of ptsd, and she didnt believe her becouse of the stuff her psych did with her in therapie, as if this Information isnt already for everyone to look at in the internet... . A real psychopath dont need their psych to tell them what to say, they look it up themself. If you follow her logic, then we have zero victims of violence on thus planet... becouse everyone could be biased. Ambers Psych wasnt better(she is bought too), its sad that they cant find someone who isnt bought already by either side.

@@Acap350 I agree 100%.. Her refusal to acknowledge the difference between “donated” and “pledged” is ridiculous. You can’t just say: “I think that they mean the same thing, so they do mean the same thing.” She came across as an obstinate teenager there. Also, blaming her lack of donation to the charities on responding to JD’s lawsuit… yet another example of not taking accountability. The money should have been an automatic transfer into their accounts, lawsuit or no-lawsuit. Her defence costs should be funded with her own resources (which I know are not a lot).

Dr Curry looks at the jury when explaining a subject, but she still answers the questions to the lawyer. Amber team took that trick from her and Amber was answering yes and no to the jury, it was so funny 😂😂

Is this your first court case? People do that.......all the time....as the jury are the ones that need to be convinced (not the lawyers). No one took any tactic from anyone, they just implemented a technique poorly.

I never used my psychology degree but the important things I learned were testing and measurement as well as statistics. Psychological testing is not the same as Facebook quizzes. Dr. Hughes is an embarrassment to the profession and Amber Heard is not as smart as she thought.

Exactly...once you're familiar with how psychometric testing works, it becomes apparent that Dr. Hughes consistently misrepresented 'test' results,claimed to infer more information from them than is scientifically possible. Dr. Curry sticks strictly to direct interpretation of the tests she administered. When she extends to an inference based on research, she mentions explicitly that it's based on research and not test data. Idk who has a vested interest and who doesn't, but Dr. Curry has wayyyy more scientific integrity.

Same… it really made me laugh when she tried to say that Ambers scores showing malingering really DIDNT show malingering because Curry compared her to the average Bell curve and because Amber isn’t normal that means she can’t be compared on the bell curve and the 98th percentile means nothing. LIKE YES THATS THE WHOLE POINT IS ONLY PEOPLE FAKING IT END UP IN THE 98th PERCENTILE BECAUSE THATS UNREALISTIC FOR A HUMAN BEING.

@@arteryals exactly! Her focus was back and forth equally between the jury, who she was explaining her answers to, and the attorney doing the questioning. It’s like telling a story in front of a group of friends, you’d kinda take time to look at everyone as you’re talking as a way to make everyone to feel included and invested in what you’re saying. Dr Curry’s body language feels inclusive and poised, while AH comes off like a petulant child.

You can see by Amber's body language during this testominy that this is hard to hear. It's almost as if she is rolling her eyes, but through her body language. Narcissists fidget and show signs of restlessness when they feel they are not in control of a situation. She knows she is being called out but she is so delusional that she is trying to block it all out and stay in her fantasy world mentally. I hope the jury has seen these signs throughout this trial.

On a side note, when her witnesses are on the stand and they are bending the truth through exagerattion she is engaged and calm. It's almost as if it gives her peace to be reassured. If you look at Johnny's body language, he has been calm and collected the WHOLE trial. You can tell EVERYTHING through someone's body language.

She won't. She will continue to find Dr's and psychiatrists that give her the diagnosis she WANTS to hear and that she agrees with. Anyone who disagrees with her is discarded. She will not change and no one can force her into treatment or to take medication, etc which is why we have the mental health crisis that we have. Her baby girl is the new victim and that child can't escape her unlike Johnny could. Unfortunately, she'll raise her and mold her into her "mini me" as we know she'll become a product of the toxic environment AH will raise her in.

Her explanations are clear her knowledge is vast.Her motives are clear and her duty to the court is so apparent. I have so much respect for Dr Curry she is truly honourable unlike what we’ve witnessed from Amber’s team. You can tell this lady does her job right whether or not someone is looking.

She is so right. When performing a test you need to have controls that either stop manipulation or demonstrates manipulation... Otherwise all you are doing is just assuming the person is telling the truth, in a situation he / she has an incentive to lie....

Yeah! Also psychometric tests are usually extremely limited/specific in what information they can provide. Dr. Hughes tried to act like that's not true. Anything that is a broad range assessment will have hundreds of questions, like the MMPI 2.

PTSD is an extremely disabling diagnosis. This means if one has this there is a decrease in functioning in their normal life. I love how Dr. Curry has subtly delivered an upper cut to Amber Heard. It was like saying “how can you have PTSD when you’re partying and carrying on with your life as if nothing happened???“ in such a calm and intellectual manner. I want to learn from this lady! You go, Dr. Curry!

I personally know people who have ptsd and has done the total opposite! It all depends on the individual and how they will react. Just because a group reacts similar it doesn’t mean everyone else will, on the contraire some groups will react the total opposite as a third group could have no reaction at all! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Okay, I'm not for Amber in the slightest, but not ALL of PTSD causes decrease in functioning. She most definitely does not have PTSD, but PTSD does effect people differently.

What I love about this witness, Dr. Curry, is that she speaks about the protocols of the tests she conducted, she presents the results of the tests, she brings up all the statistics necessary, basically she speaks based on the data that she collected from Amber. Dr. Hughes, however, blabbered about all the stories that we’ve all heard from Amber herself, it’s as if she’s retelling a gossip as we do to our friends!! So her talking like that on the stand as an expert witness is so weird!! THIS is how an expert witness should speak.

Dr Curry is the most eloquent and engaging person I've ever heard. She would be an excellent professor or attorney. Concise and no BS. She addresses the court and jury in a manner that's not obnoxious and pretentious.

I’m so glad she clearly explained the difference between her and Dr Hughes. The most important part is to control for bias in a court case. Dr Hughes just ignored this and took all these manipulated check lists and presented them as facts, when Amber had every benefit to lie on them. The only results Dr Curry brought to court are those that had control of these potential biased responses.

So glad my therapist teaches me about psychology while also helping me with depression and anxiety! I know most of these tests (either from taking it or learning it). The BECK one I know the most because I just took it. Would love to be teached by her! You go, Dr.Curry!
