Israeli soldiers have committed widespread abuses in Gaza, including potential war crimes, according to photos and videos they posted, shared and celebrated on their social media accounts, a new documentary has revealed.
According to the investigation, soldiers posted and celebrated these acts on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, RU-vid, and Facebook following their invasion of the enclave.
‘Nobody in government has spoken to me about what I saw in Gaza,’ Doctor Victoria Rose, a consultant Plastic Surgeon, who has treated patients in Gaza on on two separate medical trips in the past year, told MEE.
The film opens with a quote from Palestinian novelist Susan Abulhawa: "Nobody can say they didn’t know. We live in an era of technology and this has been described as the first livestream genocide in history, and I believe that to be true."
