Maybe the guns shots or gun shot sounds were there to draw in law enforcement knowing the would be large response. Also withe delay on the explosion from the countdown. Draw law enforcement in and then delay the explosion when law enforevment relaxes thinking that it was a hoax, then set off the explosives to kill more law enforcement

@@BrassStacks If you watch and listen to the officers, she said she was awakened by gunshots and looked out the window. The officers walked the entire length of the block and were just speaking calmly and there was no gunshots before the explosion took place. There was nothing on their radios that said there were shots that they needed to respond to.... They walked right pass the vehicle RV and also listen closely to what the vehicle recording(if it was a recording and not just remote speaker). It did not say there was a bomb. Just sounds fishy as if to just get on the news to distract or send a message to someone....

I'm not going to go listen to them both again right now, but my initial thoughts are that I believe she said she had heard the shots and the recording long before the explosion. If I remember correctly (which admittedly I have a lot on my mind and may not) I believe she stated that they left the area and had traveled about 30 minutes before the explosion. If that's the case, the police recordings are not long enough to cover everything she may have heard.
Oddly, most people hear something suspicious and then ignore it. So a burglar can break a window and wait, and a homeowner waking up listens, doesn’t hear a second noise, so they go back to sleep. Most people just do not pay attention to ONE suspicious sound or sight. When you hear something suspicious, please pay attention.

Phone and internet service was disrupted for several hours after the detonation, including 911 and the airlines. The AT&T building was probably a strategic location because of its use by different phone service providers for signals. The RV was reportedly seen roaming the downtown area for several days prior to this incident---possibly scoping out a strategic location. I'm sure more details about the effects and intention of the explosion in that place and at that time will surface in the coming days.
Take notes reporters. This is how you interview someone. You stfu and let them speak. This man is excellent in his job and asks good questions. This woman is very detailed in her account. This interviewer was so good that it felt like she being questioned by police.

@@gracefultimes her particular block has restaurants. There’s some bars the closer you get to Broadway (the main Nashville strip). Her end of the block was relatively quiet from what I remember even though she’s not far from the busy nightlife
