Although the creators took inspiration from anime, Avatar: The Last Airbender was not written, produced, or primarily animated in Japan. It was created by two Americans and made for Cartoon Network. Most of the animation was done in South Korean studios. Great list, though! There were a few on there that I'd never heard of before.
