Thing is, these bosses are meant to make spellements more accessible. All a fight with 2 Mill health is doing is making it more tedious to get spellements. They could even nerf the health and give him more cheats and it would still be a better fight. No one wants to spend 40 min doing a fight for 10 random spellements.

@@backpackwquinn I agree with that. I think a nice compromise would be to make this boss drop something else and have a different boss drop the spellements. That way we could still have this unique boss drop something of value, but not make it insanely tedious to farm for max upgrade for your spellements. However, I think they might have done this because Pigsie is such a useful and sought after spell, so they wanted it to be hard to get still. That's my best guess at least...

Indeed, backdraft is the way.

@@Chocolatebrimstone sure its fine but fire's scion works off traps so that double damage is always guarenteed. Plus 2 backdrafts at over 200% each on top of feints and other traps. I don't see 2 150 super charges doing more. especially if you aren't getting your double damage off on your scion as a storm in this fight

I don't believe these two backdrafts will stack (only one gets used). However, a regular backdraft and a Glorious Chivalric Crown backdraft (20% per pip) will stack.

@@Lacudra have you tested the potent trap tc made back draft against a regular one?

Is the damage cap still 1M?

This boss has a damage cap, so that ~1.5 million is the limit there

U must be new or still casual if amber is what youre worried abt in crafting but not pigsie TC

@@Lemontarts01 U must be new or casual too if you dont realize that pigsie tc are easy as hell to get on the market

honestly it'll probably still be more efficient than farming loremaster for pigsie, plus as blaze said it's only a matter of time before strats get made for getting 2m damage as fast as possible

@@doovy8504 True . I cant run my 3 accounts in test to do the high damage hits like i can in live. Only 2 of the accounts would benefit from it any how. Shows im very much a solo player with to many accounts.

Wait there's boss specific damage caps? Cause when I went for 1 in a mil, I hit for over 1 mil and didn't get it but hit for 2 mil, which I assumed was the cap and got it

@@markdavidmagat9866 it's exclusive to this one, the others need a bubble to cap damage

When the devourer came out I didn't do it till a year after it's release took people a lot to figure it out frankly I only did it twice

@@fredcoleman6594 yeah, I had to do him 10 times to make the summon tc for collecting. Hint if you ever do him again; life and balance boost on him so make them the hitters. If possible, it's best to have a death wiz to spam weaknesses too, but not as required as a balance or life hitter.

The second time I did the devourer was kinda bad we had 2 deaths 1 life and 1 storm the life wizard tried to be the "powerhouse" meanwhile we had a powerhouse I was spamming bad juju and weakness on the boss the other death was jade healer the life kept blading I told her the boss takes blades she said she's stacking me and the other death told her it wouldn't work the life wizard thought otherwise and didn't listen so our storm wizard did the damage again me and the other death wizard was scolding the life girl she was hard headed to spite her I said bye to the other teammates after we defeated the boss never saw the life girl again.

I've not actually tested it, but in the update notes, it says that bosses now scale to your level, so I assume if lower level wizards go into this fight, the boss won't have 2 million health. Still weird they decided the 2 million health boss would be in Wysteria instead of Dragonspyre or something though.
