A few more that could have made the list Baba Yaga - Shield Spam Spirit of Darkmoor - Scald when blades + constant cheats Ervin and Taurus - First fight in Tower of Helephant Othin Stormfather in Ravenscar (4 bosses in a level 40 quest) Luska from Waterworks - Need I say anything? All the fights in the Galleries Key Mimic can be annoying if you get the annoying forms Jabberwock / Shadowock - High damage + remove traps Clemente Moraga - Sun School quest in Azteca, need i say more? Ponce de Gibbon from Azteca - really annoying cheats Final fight of Nastrond and probably most annoying Shemazan Blightmark and Popzotz Unlucky Day from Azteca, 2 high health bosses, oh and Shemazan (who is life) can efreet you That's a few from the top of my head, I agree with Belloq, Frostbranch and the 2 Catacombs bosses being here, but not Omen. Omen is really only hard if you have a terrible team, but that's the same with pretty much the entire game. I've done strats which can kill Omen in 7 turns.
@@jumpinjeff1709 For 7 round Omen you need a hitting school and 3 support schools (for me i did 2 Fire, a Myth and a Balance, Fire hitting) First wiz needs 2 traps, 2 indem feints, shatter and 1/2 blades Second wiz needs 3 traps, Aegis Blade, 1 Indem Feint, and 2 more blades Third wiz needs 3 traps, Bladestorm TC / Balance, 1 Indem Feint and 2 more blades Final wiz needs 2 traps, Aura (Frenzy is best) 2 blades and both a single and multi hit. Round 1, All trap Round 2, All trap Round 3, First indem feints, Second and Third trap (if there is double Fire, the Fire support should Aegis blade here) and Final Auras Round 4, First Shatters, Second Aegis Blades the Hitter (unless it's a double Fire, in which case they should Backdraft), Third Bladestorms and Final single hits the Sentinel Round 5, All Blades Round 6, First Indem Feints Omen, Second Indem Feints Healer, Third Indem Feints Shrike and Final Blades Round 7, First either blades or shatters depending on RNG with the shields, Second and Third blade and Final AOEs In case of not killing, Reshuffles / donate powers should be carried as well but in small quantities
And when you’re about to hit from second and they use it. The fire elemental spirit in Azteca before the Zultun Dock took me 3 tries to beat because of Efreet. I always carry cleanse TCs with me now just in case
I solo winter tusk and yeah that tree in austrilund have me trouble too but I managed to beat him. But then again I don't go to Wintertusk till after I finish celestia and had water works gear. I didn't even know the cheats
Devourer at the edge of the spiral had a glitch in test realm you talked about it, it was amazing I helped me friend and he got devoured and I just had to fight him myself with my fire
As a life, Gristletusk is such a pain. He is the life boss you have to defeat as a life to get forest lord at lvl 48. (Just to be clear, at that level you really only have centaur). He had like 5,000 health and a minion, plus a cheat to add a 25 trap on you anytime you shielded, bladed, prismed (which you had to do), or feinted. I was a sad life.
for me it’s the titan trident. So much rng in that fight it’s annoying. Tried to duo it with another wizard on level and it took like 20 tries. We would always be so close before some random bullshit screwed us over
I find Morganthe being athorn in my side, but I always comment to my teammates when she dialogues us “come on, I’ll take you to my palace bedroom and I hope you will change you gorgeous goth body mind!” ☺️☺️
Little tip for Omen, you can actually use bladestorm in the battle before the sentinel is dead. He only removes the blade on the person who casted the spell
I know these probably aren’t worthy of being in the top 5, but some annoying bosses for the minimum level that you could fight them were Orrick Nightglider Lyon Lorestriker and Ares Savage Spear. When they came out I remember struggling to beat them.
I feel like Kravenly the Hunter could be on here. With a team he is a easy. But soloing it is so difficult because he uses his natural attack every turn.
Maybe it was because I have a balance wizard, and now she is a max. But I was really annoyed with Khrysilis, the mirror mask boss. I was so frustrated with her. Lost two times and finally managed to get through her the third time, but I really had to focus.
Faced off against Belloq today, and let me tell you, I 100% agree that he’s too tough for the level you’re supposed to fight him. That Ra is ridiculous. I had to bring in a friend to just cast wand hits until I had my blades to take him out. I will say, though... Tim-Tim Snakeeye in the Black Palace might be a bit of a bigger pain in the rear to do solo. His cheat is that he starts the round with a 90% Tower Shield that he regains whenever he’s hit. He does take it off for the rest of the round, though, when a player heals. Thankfully I was life, and able to exploit that with the help of that same friend. It’s doable solo, though, if you’re willing to spend darn near a half hour on a single fight that, quite frankly, isn’t worth the frustration. Edit: (Sunday, July 18, 2021) I actually got far enough in the game to defeat omen, and I got Frostfang Tiger first try… that’s just how RNG is sometimes.
Omen is easy to beat thou. All you need to do is charge up aoe hits. Sun serpent works the best on this boss. Just target the tank. And the aoe will still damage them a lot- close to 8-10K per hit. Plus the 6-9K you will do to the tank per hit (3) due to your aoe hitting them and him capturing 75% of the damage. What this means with one enemy hitting aoe hits and another using sun serpent you just whipe them all out. It takes 15 min with a team that has any brain
Cant you just counter Belloq by using a dot spell? Even a treasure card fire elf or something, if your school doesnt have any. Using those "empty" turns to blade
He now spits you out but he still deals 1500 and the issue is he has this bolt cheat where if it maxes he once dealt 8000 damage to each wizard with 15000 health left that is the only time I will ever face him until I max another wizard
Me as a new player, I will probably gonna go into every single boss thinking I can handle easy xD i hope there isn't any hard boss that counters life wizards
Maybe it was because I have a balance wizard, and now she is a max. But I was really annoyed with Khrysilis, the mirror mask boss. I was so frustrated with her. Lost two times and finally managed to get through her the third time, but I really had to focus. But I am pretty sure it was just because she was the same school as me.
Trying to actually strategise against Belloq so I could kill him efficiently, and I got beat down like 15 times. But when I spam Tempest like his stupid Ra-spamming cheat, he can't take it and dies.
I remember the bosses I hated were kravenly the hunter and these Wolverines in rubal wastes there was 3 of them there cheats were no blades no traps no being late and a thousand other ones
Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but bosses that cheat really ought to hint that they cheat before you start the fight. I’m tired of frantically googling a boss’s name as soon as they say a quote in the first round of battle lmao
I'm surprised that the jabberwock isn't on here because of the massive damage he does with meteor and that you could've used the twin giants version of Belloq because he has a few more cheats in that fight from what I remember.
Do the fights, don't just stand there . That is by far the worst thing about most of the wiz RU-vidrs. Just run around and talk actually do some gameplay show what the hell you're talking about. And if the fight drags on or doesn't go your way, you can edit the footage. 🤯
I would argue Omen being harder then Druid, Druid has a pretty consistent strategy that's not too hard and can be done in 4 turns, omen on the other hand I think takes longer
