azteca when it first dropped was actually disgusting. Pretty much every boss had over 20k hp and mobs in later azteca got up to above 5k hp. it was wild
@@925263 OK so just out of curiosity I did some research and the Grim Calaca's in twin giants had a wopping 6050 HEALTH when Azteca first came out. And they were just mobs. And nearly EVERY boss was over 20k. I swear Kingsisle was smoking something 😭😭😭😭
Does anyone remember when Dragonspyre was hard af. Like 12 years ago when the game was young the bosses had insane health. Especially for only being level 40 with terrible gear.
when we had shit pets, no tcs, didnt really know what aquila and zeus gear was, and those fucking weaknesses. If I started a new account and knew nothing I feel like dragonspyre would still be maybe not difficult but incredibly annoying to quest through
I am a death wiz and so far its been smooth cruising. Only a struggle if I haven't upgraded my gear or picked up new spells. Otherwise its been a cruise solo. However, I made a storm wiz recently for some fun and sheesh, it gets tougher but still fun
@@tristandauphin4763 by the time you get to hit you’re about 25-30% health left. That’s not even counting bosses that throw weakness, plague, tower shields, and earthquake towards you.
I found krok harder than some of the later worlds to solo because i hate healing 1v2 is hard with the terrible gear you have and if your just starting out and dont have a high wiz to make a pet for you
Also worth noting that Zafaria, to this day, is the one and only world to have received a BUFF rather than a nerf (although it's been nerfed now because of that game-wide 30% health reduction). It didn't change much about how easy the world was, but you know you made a world too easy when you have to do that lol. Coming off the actually challenging pre-Nerf Celestia, Zafaria was cake.
@@BlueSparxLPs Celestia is deffo harder than Zafaria. Zaf had the perfectly difficulty IMO. Challenging, but not frustrating. It applies to mobs, bosses and dungeons.
@@925263 I disagree. I don't even care much for challenge, but personally I feel the most balanced experiences for difficulty have been Avalon and Empyrea.
I’m pretty sure Chester Droors is the first fight you have to 3v1 in. Big Ben has multiple mobs but you can go in with other players, so I would agree Wysteria in easy.
I’m shocked at how many people find Zafaria to be difficult. It’s always been pretty much the easiest world in the game to me because it comes right off the heels of Waterworks where you’re basically doing a Level 60 world with gear that’s the best in the game until level 100. The world may be tough but the gear just massively outpaces it.
thats true but you’d be shocked at how many people skip over waterworks. i just finished azteca duoing with a myth who had not a single waterworks piece and 47% atk
Karamele when it first came out was actually insanely difficult the mobs were doing stupid damage with 5k up health but after an update it became baby tier
I'm a Death Main and I will list my experience based on the worlds difficulties. Very Difficult: Assteca, Aqulia, and Catacombs. Challenging: Empyrea, Zafaria, Avalon, Grizzlehiem and Wintertusk, and Dragonspyre. Average: Khrysalis, Mooshu, Karamelle, Celestia, and Mirage. Easy: Polaris, Marlybone, Krokotopia, and Wysteria. Ur Being babied: Wizard City. The reason why Khrysalis is that low because I had literally no problems in that world up until the Hive, I soloed basically the entire world easily, only took me about 5 days to solo it.
I tend to like the easier worlds for a more casual experience, but I think Karamelle was the first time I was disappointed by a world's difficulty. I actually thought Empyrea struck a great balance with its difficulty, and then Karamelle dropped so much that I think it can definitely be called one of the easiest worlds. Easy is great, but that's where I learned there is absolutely a such thing as too easy as well.
Well you’re forgetting karamelle is the start of arc 4, the start of each arc is usually much easier such as how easy Polaris was but it gets harder as you saw how mirage and empyrea was harder, so it’s likely it’s the same for this time too. They want to give us a break after going through a long 2 part hard world
@@BlueSparxLPs Yeah, it's almost insulting how easy Karamelle is. I get that it's the start of a new arc but still, you're going in having finished Empyrea and (presumably) Catacombs. There's really no excuse for it being that easy
Krok i'd argue is more debatable, but entirely depending on what Wizard you are playing. A Storm Wizard in Krok very much does not have a fun time, as they won't get Tempest til Marleybone and are always fighting at least 2 enemies; sometimes more. Especially since the final area is full of Storm Enemies.
I think you hit the nail with this; when we talk about the challenging tier those worlds can be a major pain but if you take the time to farm for the right gear you can easily solo it to some extent. Some people even have damage pets while Questing and they struggle in some areas which is strange to me XD. . Great video honestly !
Celestia is hard as hell, the difficulty ramps up for no reason. A easy boss one shotted me as a level 49, and my friend who was 61 was like wtf when i got one shotted the first turn 3k damage optimos dude is op starts with 3 gold pips always crits first turn.
Pre nerf mirage, was by far the hardest world to solo. I did it on test realm, and on live realm as a storm wizard, the ice street mobs used to have 10k hp I kid you not, it was like azteca but with shadow magic and natural stats such as pierce and damage. I miss it :(
I remember when I started Marleybone WAY back when I honestly thought I would quit the game. So unless alot has changed since I last came back. I really think it should be higher.
Azteca, mirage, and khrys pre patch were nasty but fun due to challenge felt satisfaction when finishing it. Polaris had a fire mob that made me rage quit for a month. Literally was a collect quest and the mobs spammed smoke stun efreet krampus for over 30 turns I could not hit. I had max stats at time with full dark moor and crowns gear
OG here who was around when every single world came out, man I remember when Azteca came out, it was fckin stressful as shit, every fight felt like a challenge lol
If you have a decent pet along with decent gear you'll do fine on every world Polaris and beyond. You can one turn or two turn a lot of the mobs and 4-5 turn bosses as long as you know how to play the game and not go into battle with 30+ spell decks. Azteca is very hard because of how cheap the bosses can be, especially since you only have waterworks gear and not a lot of crit or damage to power through. Khrysalis is a bit easier because of the extra stats you get from NPC tagging but can still be challenging. If you don't have a good pet, the early worlds can be a nightmare solo.
Extremely difficult: Catacombs, Khrysalis, Azteca, Darkmoor, Dragonspyre Hard: Mirage, Avalon, Aquila, Celestia, Zafaria, Marleybone, Mushu Medium: Krokotopia, Grizzleheim (technically can be the easiest world, since you can do it much later than you're supposed to), Polaris (because of Baba Yaga and Rasputin), Karamelle Easy: Wizard City Honestly, the game is very hard. Throughout the entire first arc, a bad fizzle is GG, with most of the tougher bosses being infinitely above you. The second arc is by far the hardest one, since you're stuck with lvl 60 gear even while doing stuff meant for level 99. Khrysalis pretty much cannot be soloed by non-death schools, unless you're willing to invest over an hour into every single boss fight - and there's a lot. Azteca is slightly better now with its nerf, but yeah.... The third arc starts off relatively easy, but it does force you to start with a reasonably tough solo boss, and then there are a few multi-fight dungeons that are impossible for some schools. Baba Yaga remains a difficult fight, and Rasputin isn't meant to be soloed. Mirage is much harder, with the ferret brothers being a pain, Xerxes being tough, and the final 4 dungeons being insane. Eerkala is a pain in the ass, too. But the mobs are easy (or used to be. I hear they got a boost to their hits recently. IDK about that). But pretty much the only world in which you will have 0 difficulty is Wizard City. Even Marley and Krok have tougher instances, with bosses whose health you might not even have enough spells to bring down.
I strongly disagree. I soloed most of Khrysalis on a Fire and it would usually take at most three tries per boss, usually doing it first try every try. It isn't too bad but I would say is much worse without a good pet (which is of course not exactly a trivial thing to do)
Currently playing the game again as a Life and Storm duo of two wizards using my own account and my sister's simultaneously. Maybe it's just the dream team combo mixed with ultimately knowing what I'm doing, but I've breezed by way all the way to Azteca no sweat. I'm currently just starting Cloudburst Forest with them. Maybe things get harder later, but so far playing double has actually proven to snap the game in two. And no, neither wizard in overleveled. In fact, they did a lot of the game severely underleveled, not getting the Waterworks gear until around starting Stone Town if I remember correctly.
Duo questing in general makes the game about 50 times easier. Much faster blading, much safer to heal, since you don't have to be afraid for your pips, you get twice as many attacks, you can port back if something goes wrong, etc. Especially if you get a beast duo like storm and life, which should be enough to solo all the worlds, aside from some of the tougher instances (Mirage's ending, Darkmoor, Aquila, some Empyrea and Karamelle stuff)
People say they’ve seen this type of video like people own video ideas. This is a fair idea to give your perspective on, who tf cares if other people have done it?
I decide to skip wysteria so i don't have zeus gear or senators for that matter. plus the level requirements for both mooshu and wysteria are the same as you can start it right after you complete marleybone. Along with that, I skip grizzleheim until I finish celestia so that i have crit, resist, decent damage and jewels. (like 1% pierce). and then after I finish grizzleheim+wintertusk you'll be about 58-59 which by the time you start zafaria you would have to instantly start farming for waterworks gear (or zigzag). and then i come back to wysteria at a higher level world so i don't have to spend so much time on it.
Why do people hate Catacombs? For the first time ever, Wizard101 actually requires some skill and knowledge of the game in order to succeed. Yet, players would rather just spam tempest instead. If you’re reading this and you hate Catacombs because you suck, practice the bosses, develop a good strategy with good teammates, and eventually you will come out on top.
the first time i ever played wizard101 i stopped for the first time out of frustration in grizzleheim. it was an easy boss but i just couldn’t beat it for some reason
I would say krokatopia goes into easy and marleybone goes into average, some of the boss fights in krok can be a challenge for your lvl and I had some trouble every time I’d try to fight krokopatra lmao.
As a storm main, everything is relatively easy. It just takes skill/game knowledge to set up and kill as quick as possible. The only thing I really find difficult are the dungeons like darkmoor/catacombs
tbh im so glad that catacombs is optional now. Dragoons gear just isnt all that much better than cabal gear so you can just rock that till merciless now and save yourself the hassle
the only thing i'd change is i'd put celesita and zafaria in the average tier. celestia mobs are fairly easy for the level, especially cus of the freshly acquired aoe spells and enchants, and there's no cheats until the final dungeon. zafaria is mainly mob fights anyways, and the cheating bosses are manageable with a team that knows the cheats, plus if you're smart you won't even touch the world without ww gear anyways. at least with my experience, those are fairly easy worlds for the levels you're in them.
One thing that I think works against Polaris (even though it doesn't really affect the difficulty) is that its SO short. Polaris has 98 quests total, which can feel like a lot (even though a lot of them are walk around and talk). Khrysalis had 277! Thats almost 3 times as many quests! Polaris being easy AND incredibly short did it no favors, sadly. The bosses never got any harder until you got to the final boss. Meanwhile Khrysalis just hits you over the head with the steel chair that is bosses like Ghost Dog repeatedly.
Khrysalis is nothing but average at best. Literally you can run through the world with waterworks gear and a basic triple double and then you get darkmoor halfway in? Hell; you could realistically do the entire world in sub-par gear
1. Avalon was a massive difficulty spike. The batshit numbers in Azteca were a direct extrapolation of Avalon's curve. 2. Beastman Fight Club is leagues worse than the Devourer. They're both optional content, so did you just forget? 3. Empyrea is easily the toughest of all because of Titan's Trident (never mind the optional stuff, including Beastman).
Just my opinion, but I would put Avalon in the average tier. But everything else, I agree with 100%. Some of these worlds are just plain difficult lol.
when you said 'towards the end of marley you get zeus gear' i LAUGHED because zues never even existed when i did marley XD. god i feel old, you didnt have pets or super good dungeon gear etc XD
Bro you need to rank them based on the level you are at when you play it. Krok is average at least. Seems like the pattern in this is the higher or newer world the harder when i dont think thats always necessarily true
Truth is: if anybody doesn't have Khrysalis as #1... i just assume you have mental disabilites of the severe kind. Celsetia was hard as heck when it first came out, but I assume it rather easy now, especially with mt olympus/barkingham palace gear. Azteca was difficult but only because of the Myth and Storm monsters and the pre spell nerf with Earthquake, sirens, and stuns. Zafaris was also difficult because of.. again.. Myth and Storm monsters, Karamelle and lemuria are both rather hard as the mobs have too much damage and peirce. Novus is not so much hard as just SO FRUSTTRATING. everybody spams weakness/plague and dispells like candy at a parade. Now factor in they all have 40 resist about the same peirce and 150 ish damage... Even more for bosses.
Adjusted my pip chance damaged 87 should be higher 234 crit 3888 health and 91 pip chance zafaria mad easy am a death maybe. That’s why lol especially with the animation changes made it faster
dude i hated azteca and big bug world was sooooooooo long an annoying back when lvl 100 was the cap at least we have malistair gear because that was hellish
wizard city was avg, krok was avg, Marleybone was easy, mooshu was easy, Grizzleheim was very difficult, dragonspyre was challenging, Celestia was baby, Zafaria was avg, avalon was avg, Khrysalis was very difficult, Polaris was baby, Mirage was challenging, empyrea was very difficult, Karamelle was easy, Lemeuria was baby and so was novus. Darkmoor was baby, Aquila was challenging, Catacombs literally everything was very difficult even the side quests which i did all of them. Catmandu was very challenging,
Wysteria is crazy easy, finished the world in literally 1 hour and that is a fact. I even timed it, so it's not a "estimation". 90% of it is talking and the mobs are not even that strong, if it is to you... just find someone else farming it doing quests.
