Most of these I have seen before, but I am so excited about the open at 6:21! I have been hoping for years that someone would find and post a good version of this. Previously all I could find was the really blurry Susan Banks version with the beginning and end cut off. Also enjoyed 12:01, which was originally the bumper music associated with the 6:21 version of the theme, and continued to be used on the morning news for years after they stopped using it elsewhere. At one time someone posted a clean, extended audio file of this music on a website, but I can no longer find it. Thank you!
Longtime weeknight anchor Keith Radford, who succeeded the late Irv Weinstein following the latter's retirement in 1998, retired himself earlier this year.
Granite ruined channel 7. The station suffered a gradual ratings collapse beginning in the early 1990s, which slightly accelerated when Weinstein retired. The station’s ratings collapse accelerated significantly in 2003 and now the station is in last place as of the end of the 2000s except for a small time frame in the early 2010s.
WKBW-TV, Channel 7, Buffalo, NY, is the ABC affiliated television station, and it is owned by its parent company, E.W. Scripps Company of Cincinnati, Ohio. 👌
@@stevensuarez4843 My theory is that E.W. Scripps isn't talking that much attention to their legacy stations (including flagship station, WCPO-TV 9 in Cincinnati, Ohio) and bring much cheaper designs to the company and said stations with poor graphics and crappy logos*ESPECIALLY* from WKBW.
