Vlad's legend is going to slowly grow I believe, but I still believe that he is very underrated along with his brother. Just because he didn't go out and talk crap on TV. Ect.

It is a very nice and neat appearance by boxing legend Wladimir Klitschko, vs. another world champion Ruslan Chagaev. This prime Wlad's boxing technique on another level. It's a shame that no USA television broadcasts it, but this fight was good for their young boxer.
It just speaks to how biased they are against non-american boxers. Boxing is big in america and has a rich history, but here a undefeated champion goes up against the number 1 heavyweight on the planet and fellow champ, but they barely care.
Wlad and Vitali peaked under the watchful eye of Steward and became the dominant force in the heavyweight division. I thought Wlad's reign would never end. I loved how he manhandled Chagaev.
Chgaev's mostly forgotten now but he actually had a pretty decent skill set. Problem was he was unable or unwilling to force his way inside, and like all of Vlad's opponents who couldn't do that, he ended up getting picked to pieces from the outside.
A new lineal would only would be created by becoming Undisputed. He never was. His bodyguard Vitali, Peter and Maskaev passed the WBC belt between themselves and back to Vitali. They only claimed a new lineal because he wasnt going to fight his brother but that was his decision to duck the next best opponent out there in reality. Tyson Fury now claims lineal but its only lineage from Wlads championship not The lineal. Vitali had more claim to lineal when he took Lewis`s vacant title against Sanders and became Ring champion also.
@@boxinggospel5334 undisputed has nothing to do with undisputed title it’s when the number one and number two of the division and consensus among fans and non financially interested bodies say these two were 1 and 3 and allowed him to not fight family. However Tyson is lineal champ even if you do not accept wald as one as the he beat the no 1 wilder as no 2
Wladimir Klitschko is arguably the best Heavyweight of the past 35 years, only Lennox Lewis was better maybe. I have Klitschko over Lewis personally. What a masterful performance here by Wladimir, he was in his prime here.
Klitchko brothers were amazing during their times......both were literally invincible....no one could bet Wladimir at his prime....neither Tyson of his prime...not Lewis
Chagaev only lost to Wladimir Klitschko and Alexander Povetkin, arguably the best non-Klitschko fighter of the era. Povetkin won every fight until he was in his late thirties, except for Wladimir. Some people talk down the boxers from the Klitschko era, but the only reasons why Chagaev or Povetkin are not considered greats is because Wladimir was just dominant for so long and because a lot of boxing fans have a big pro-american bias.
Wasn't it something to do with the WBA stripping Chagaev of his title because he was injured and didn't defend it against Valuev? Either way he never lost it in the ring so he was the legit WBA champ when Wlad K fought him.
***** Yep. Then Valuev won the vacant title on a gift decision against a 46 year old Evander Holyfeild, Who funnily enough did a far better job against Valuev than Haye did lol.
lol I only saw Haye vs Valuev the it but I remember thinking to myself at the time before they announced the decision that I'm not sure Haye has got this.
Jeez this commentator is so biased. Calling Klitschko someone with a terrible chin, saying his chin has let him down so many times and he has no confidence whatsoever. What an absolute garbage commentator. Wladimir at this point had no losses after training with Emmanuel Steward all his losses at the time were at the start of his career, but biased commentators love bringing that up.

Если бы Чагаев умел контролировать свой вес и больше внимания уделял функционалу(хотя какой функционал после гепатита) вряд ли у него был бы хотя бы один достойный соперник... здесь он явно не в лучшей форме.
В боксе полегло немало огромных боксёров, которые были длиньше по росту и длине рук, но в итоге оказались длиньше только в плане места, занятого на ринге в лежачем положении. Взять хоть Прайса, хоть Гранта, хоть Джулиуса Лонга. Размерами ещё нужно уметь воспользоваться, как и нивелировать их негативные эффекты.
