If you're getting stuttering/FPS drops in games when running above 2k Hz check your chipset drivers (If you're on AMD for the CPU) I installed the ones released 7-26-2024 and that went away for me. 8k Hz will still give some rare and slight stuttering from time to time, but it could also be the game. I've tested it in Apex, The Finals, and Back 4 Blood and they all work at 4k - 8k Hz polling after the chipset driver update. Hope it helps.
😮the high polling rate issue, the swift or flick shots/movement throws a stutter as fast as possible just make circles w mouse in game, I believe it's a driver issue not game or mouse issue
Evangelion is so influential in Japan that many video games and movies afterwards would include references in homage to the show. A shame that the only green color offering is just an accent to the purple body, not my preference at all.
yeah I had to negotiate myself out the purple because I jsut don't really vibe with the neon green. I like the purple on my beastx but the red/black looked really good as well so I picked that one instaed
Boardzy you should review the bloody W90 pro the w series is their top of the line range, it has a paw 3389 and goes up to 16k dpi I think, it’s also stupidly cheap in my country about like 10-15 dollars.
For what its worth, i have the new Stormbreaker from pwnage and find the coating comfortable. I don't really sweat in it like i do with some other mice.
@@boardzy compared to the razer basilisk V3 pro I had, which has grime all over from sweat 😅, and a beast x Max that I tried out, for my hand at least, the Stormbreaker is the one I don't really sweat on and fits my hand the best. That said I am curious about the sword x, but their downloadable software sucks and I can't always rely on web based software even if it's better
Boardzy can you check out the new Attack Shark X3 Pro? If the firmware issues you mentioned in your X3 review are fixed it seems like an insane mouse at $60 with a 3395 and 8k polling rate
This is closer to the medium pulsar size and a decent bit lighter. When it comes to value definitely get a pulsar mouse for $70, even better if you're fine with 1k polling. Pulsar is releasing a magnesium xlite size 1.5 in a few months, they understand there's a market for magnesium premium ergos
sword x is more like a true successor to the pulsar xlite v2. youd think it would be the xlite v3 but nope. that mouse was a let down in my opinion. as biden says im a sucker for egg shells
would you recommend the sword over the asus rog keris ii debating on these two mouses and not sure which to get would love to hear your feedback? i main the final mouse ulx at 8k polling its amazing but just want to switch up to a ergo style mouse due to having abit better aim in valorant with ergo style
Pulsar XLite V3 (regular version, not the crappy esport one). Same shape, only an extra 3g and waaaaay cheaper. I also switched from the ULX to this one because I missed the Zowie EC3-CW but didn't wanna go back to that scroll wheel. I would stay away from Asus in general because having to install armoury crate is ruining your PC's OS
@@RafaelSilva-yv3oh it's kinda funny that Sword X is 10$ cheaper to buy and ship in Russia. But anywhere else the XLite V3 is a MUCH better choice, mini and large versions for different hands also.
They used EVA colors, but of course they won't say it directly, since Evangelion exists as a brand, and using the brand without permission is a violation. Asus and Evangelion did an official collaboration, and used the anime name. And so, yes, it is a reference to Evangelion. In the photos, where the colors of the mice and their sword are presented, you can see that the sword of this version is made in a mechanized style.
I like wlmouse mice but there´s only 1 thing I definitly think they should change and thats the sides, I dont like the lines, I think they should make the side with a full plate even if the mouse gets 5 grams heavier.
If you told me this was an eva collab I would believe you, the colour scheme has to be intentional. A collab that fell through? Or maybe taking very heavy inspiration???
@@SabanLeon well get a card and buy them from their original site then, also there's nothing wrong with ptfe dots just use that and save yourself the availability and monetary problems
It looks interesting, but the visual appearance is probably one of the worst. The ergo with honeycombs looks as visually repulsive as possible. I would prefer the OGM Pro v2, both visually and in terms of shape. But to each his own.
@@boardzy I'm waiting for the OGM Pro V2 the other day myself, along with the Scyrox V8. I played for about a month on Pure Air, I bought it because I think Kone Pro Air is the best representative of ergonomically shaped mice, and the only disadvantages are the weight and tactilely weak mice, which some people may not like. At the same time, it has the best wheel implementation of any mouse I've used, and a great shape with large sides. Although I would also note that after some software update, the Kone Pro's wireless stability dropped. The Pure Air is certainly not exactly what I would have liked to get, it may not look much smaller on EloShapes, but in person it's a huge difference.
"My right click is louder and sharper than my left click but overall no issues" lol same issue as the vxe R1 pro and some other mice, mehhhh definitely disappointing for a $155 mouse
@@boardzy Ngl I think it's either that or the side button PCB dampening the sound of one of the left click, this is the case with my vxe R1 pro and also the op1 8k Vs my Atlantis which has it's side button PCB mounted on top of the main PCB and as a result the clicks basically sound the same, was planning on seeing if I can add foam somewhere to even out the sound on my R1 pro
Maybe someone knows which of the options is more suitable in size? Considering that I am left-handed 17-18x9cm and used GPX Superlight before (claw) WLmouse Beast X Max or Beast X mini.
@@boardzy what mouse would you recommend for a 19x10cm long time xm1 shape lover? Im currently on the xm2we but I want something with more up to date tech while waiting for the 8k version(claw grip user)
Would it be worth getting this over the final mouse? Just got into the whole mouse thing and trying to find one that fits my grip (mainly claw). I’ve used the glorious model D felt good but switched to a pwnage ergo it feels a lot better but I’m not in love with it
If you used a model d and want something a bit smaller, lighter and more modern this could be a good option. Finalmouse and the BeastX would be much different feeling ambi shapes. There are also other ergos
@@boardzy yea I’ve been thinking about the final mouse and would send it on it the only thing is there batch periods I just missed the most recent and now have to wait for the next one. I like the weight of the first gen pwnage but the holes are kinda not doin it for me grip wise which is also the issue I have with the beast x and finalmouse you have any recommendations that fit the no holes and all I’ve been watching a lot of your old stuff and new just not sure which one to commit to
Yeah I pulled that out the other day, this is a bit larger and less sloped in general. I think this is more premium/competitive for the price but probably worse warranty/support than ASUS, definitely better software lmao
If you want that type of mouse but dont like the thorn or outset AX I don't know what you would like honestly. Maybe a dav3 pro just since its longer/something different?
Speaking strictly shape wise i dont think you can get anything better than Outset AX atm. Its the king %100. Other than that go on eloshapes and compare other ergos
Really won’t notice a difference in terms of delay. Can’t go wrong with a superlight, if you want a WLmouse it’s just a choice between the shape, they have the same tech
@@boardzy thx for your advice I'll put my bag on both and try to decide which one is better for me I've been using viper ultimate but after watching your review I bought vxe r1 pro max it's a great mouse but there's a laggy situation in there do you know how to fix the problem?
and I watched your opinion of keyboard so I'm thinking of buying wooting but it'll take 2 month for 80he, 1 month for 60he+ there's few alternative keyboard is in there like lamzu altantis pro, polar 65 etc... my present keyboard is apex pro tkl not 2023 ver but it feels sucks for me can you recommend for me which one is better for me?
@@jimbo_mode would be cool to know, i finished my beastx collection with my last order; Mini, 8k and now the max zebra one but tbh that gold-white tempted me to get into ergos again.
@@boardzy well we have the same handsize so i will try out the max when it arrives and see If its my new main beastX type, thx the answer so that iam not regretting the Zebra-max order of today 😂
Can someone tell me if these wlmouse mices actually perform well on the sensor side? Like are they actually good on the latency & sensor accuracy side? I want to try them but have huge doubts about their sensor implantations and QC issues and such
Yeah, there has been plenty of testing done their firmware and implementations are solid compared to lots of other domestic chinese offerings. Why are you concerned?
they’re about on par in terms of performance to any Chinese implantation (including lamzu and ninjutsu) which is nothing special or bad (it performs as advertised). It does have some problems with polling instability, but if your computer is configured correctly and your pc is good, it should be fine.
@@boardzyIm concerned about issues such as tracking accuracy, dpi deviation, compatibility with glass pads, worse than average polling/hz instabilities In 2024 i really expect premium mices to have none of these problems anymore, if im buying latest gen sensor mice @8khz i want to see very stable consistent results
I am on Outset Ax 4Khz atm and i pretty much trust Vaxee a lot with their sensor implementation and stability, and the shape is definitely endgame ergo (for me atleast) - the coating is also amazing, however i still expect even more upgraded versions of the Outset Ax with the same shape. I believe they should work on the side buttons and the scroll and the weight
No issues with glass pads, tracking, or polling stability, solid 3950 implementation. What do you think Vaxee would be doing different at a firmware level to be better? Main difference is Vaxee not understanding debounce time and having a few ms higher click latency. This probably won’t be worth it if you’re satisfied with the outset AX though
@@markus301 Just too low, I prefer higher sensor placements due to it just being nicer to make microadjustments but even regular sensor positions are fine for me. When it's too low though it sorta feels like my microadjustments have to be done moreso with my arm or I have to overwork my wrist to do something that I could have done with less movement on a higher sensor position. I also end up having different grip styles based on the sensor positioning and end up ftipping most of my mice as claw makes me grip further up if I want a comfortable grip but the sensor is usually too low so my microadjustments feel like too much effort Vs ftip and they feel muted. Also showed the sensor placement to a lot of people I know and they basically gave the same reaction of "Ew" Tldr higher sensor better cuz easier microadjustments but not too high otherwise no stability.
The art style of the mousepad is inspired by traditional Chinese aesthetics, reflecting the fact that both the company and its newly released sword-themed mouse are Chinese. While the mousepad design resembles the Padsmith Crucible, it is important to note that it does not directly copy any elements. Instead, it features a dragon and sword rendered in a Chinese ink style, and this design was created specifically for WLMouse by a designer.
