I know some will say what's the point in spending loads of money on upgrading a cheap car? But that's not the point. I love seeing what's possible with cheaper cars like this and the a959 - keep it up GT RC👍👍👍
Respect bruv yeah these little things surprise me from day one and I new it had more potential and just getting into hubby again and A959B being fully upgradeable I had to try make a speed run as fast was only around 50mph till I broke 60mph first then 70mph first in world but now guys are doing fastest 85mph A9595B and 102mph 144001. I've done 78mph A959B 89mph 144001 so far lol next runs I'm going for no1 spot 😁😅💯👌🏽

It's 1/14 I'm sure. I've just got one and the front wheels have way more wobble then I'd like any tips on locking things down a bit more. It's a great starter car but I'm positive it's got more to give. I digg the videos man keep it up and stay safe fam
@@birminghamgtrc did you find the book was wrong for bearings? I've bought 4×8×3 the car comes with 4×7×2 in the hubs. Are the metal hubs wltoys or lc racing? Your videos are sick fam
Cheers bruv. Yeah foams are a must on these wltoys it improves the handle a lot. And perfect for high speed runs but no good if road surfaces is crap damp wet dusty is no good but get a nice hot or warm smooth road and man it come alive you can really put power on like at cycle track but cool night road was just off being to cool.

Man I new the A959B and A979B could do 70 80mph then when the new 144001 came out and was bigger I new it would make 100mph but now I'm like 120mph+ is so close. After doing 2 runs back to back 113mph & 114.3mph I know it can be done but now I've turn it into GT it should do better and finger cross brake 120mph.
89 mph nice I’ve had 70 out of mine on 3s on stock wheels , also made a wheelie bar to stop it trying to jump over 60 speeds ,👍🏻cannot find any foams for this car on Amazon

How do you keep these RCs on the ground at these speeds? I ran my XSTR on 4s (27t 3900kv) and could barely control it at 70mph. I know foam or belted tires will help
It hard work but you need to take out the play in the hubs in most RC cars I'll have to make a vide on taking out play in hubs as so many people ask and I know it a thing out the box that let's theae wltoys down but still worth the money by far.
You can get an app that calculates your speed of you input the information it asks for. Then alter the pinion and spur tooth count and keep changing them until your happy with teeth count.
