In this video I go over the metal swing arm options available to replace the stock plastic upper and lower ones that come with the K969 K989 that you can mix and match as an upgrade. The new version of the bottom swing arms look usable compared to those old versions, took them long enough to come out with a new design finally. Thanks for the tips, looking forward to see how they work 👍

Absolutely, I already dremelled and installed them and they work great. I will post a short of them soon and eventually will do a full video on the completed rear suspension as well. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it 👍

I have not and to be honest it wasn't on my radar yet. I'm mainly focused on indoor builds at the moment so it may be awhile before I start messing with anything outdoor yet. I was thinking about doing a buggy build in the future though. But it looks like a nice cheap outdoor basher from what I've seen and not too sure what I could do to improve it, probably would put a receiver and esc on it so I could use my own radio might be where I would start first but don't know until I actually have one. Maybe I'll get around to a review down the road but there might be a new version out by the time I do lol

Thanks man, I hope you have good luck with yours. I've definitely had a lot of struggles along the way since all these cheap parts have pros and cons to them. The new swing arms are good but do have some flaws I will try to cover in the next few videos like range of motion and sloppy movement in the ball joint area which I found away to somewhat fix, just be careful when getting these metal parts nothing is going to be perfect and you might have to do some extra work to get them right. Some Chinese sellers will sell you faulty or misleading stuff while others have what you want, it's kind of hit or miss sometimes so try not to waste too much of your money if possible of course.
