Multirotor and Drone enthusiast with a passion for FPV and all things R/C. I have 11 years of experience flying, tuning and building drones from scratch and love throwing FPV (First Person View) into everything. I also build and fly micro jets and helicopters, as well as micro cars and boats. This channel will mostly cover my MINI-Z R/C Car addiction and my WLToys K969 Drifter Rebuild since they are some of my favorites at the moment and I will be doing many videos of building, upgrading, drifting, racing and flying as much as I can. I also have my part 107 certification.
…its all badly made cnc with worn out tools ill-fitting and wrongly engineered crap…they range from very bad via unusable to actually self-destructing parts!!!…as an example that ball-bearing diff with squared theeth cog wheel that eating up itself and connecting cogs…or the sloppy rods…rattling wheelhubs…
Yes I know, stick with the plastic then. I'm not telling you this is what you have to do, I'm just showing what I did to make them work for me. I fixed most of all the problems with many of the metal parts and are useable for what I want. Watch all my other videos and you'll see the progression of how I got most parts to work. Not every metal part is fixable I get it. Don't get upset at me if you couldn't get anything to work, I'm not the Chinese company selling this garbage but it's all there is to choose from out there for the K969 chassis. I'm happy with how everything turned out on my build, I just had to put in extra work to get it there. I'm sorry these parts suck but it's not my fault and I'm just making the best out of the situation, once again I never said in my videos you have to use the metal parts, usually I tell people don't waste your time if you don't want to deal with the hassle. I'm making these videos for fun and enjoy tinkering and problem solving, that's it. Also I'm sorry if I sound a little blunt, I get these comments all the time and wish we didn't have to deal with all this crap and things just worked without wasting our money.
Awesome man, I hope your build turns out great. It's always nice to hear positive feedback as some people are on the other end of the spectrum about my work lol I'm not telling people they have to do these upgrades, I'm just showing something I'm tinkering on when I have free time. Is it like a Mini-Z R34 body or a scale model car you're adding details to? And yea the suspension can be a pain to make depending on how you do it but I'm glad you already figured yours out, it took me a long time to get mine right.
I know it's not good for it, the servo was about 5 bucks. I have a few extras just in case but for a few thousand Subs and Millions of views it was a sacrifice I was willing to make haha
@@ilovebokyem In that case you are welcome my friend. I know how you feel though, I take breaks from the RC hobbies every once in awhile as they can get expensive and annoying at times
Not many Mini-Z bodies can fit the stock K969, maybe the Camaro or Challenger can but that's about it. I had to redesign the whole suspension system to barely fit my Mini-Z racing bodies on it. Any 1/24 to 1/28 scale model car body with 98mm wheelbase could possibly fit the K969 but you're gonna have to look around. Check hobby shops online and eBay are good places to start. Do your research to see it you can make it work, you can either mount them with the Mini-z mounting clips or use magnets for non Mini-Z style model bodies out there. There's not much else I can do for you since it's different for everybody.
I 3d print them myself. They are still in prototype form but once they are finalized I'll do my best to give them to the public. If I do sell them it will probably only be a few bucks.
I will when I'm done building it. I only have a little bit of time to work on it a week when I'm not working. I'm showing every bit of this build from start to finish to make content for my channel, other content creators understand. I'm waiting on the gyro to come in still and once I'm done installing the electronics, I'll start driving it. I know you're interested in seeing it in action just as much as I am so please be patient and we get to that part eventually. Thank you for watching.
Привет.что за мебель с механической ручкой можно вовесь рост триножник запечатлить.а в гонках каких то участвуеш?и в какой стране такая красота,засмотрелся,как во сне.
Thank you, that video was taken a long time ago but it was my parents table, I don't know exactly where they got it from but I think it's just an end table about 2 to 3 feet tall, seemed like a cool table to drift around at the time. There are not any races going on near me so unfortunately I'm stuck racing at home alone or with a friend, that's why I mainly stick with drifting for fun. I'm in the United States and in Florida to be exact. I'm glad you enjoyed watching my videos and hope I answered your questions the best I could.
I've tried converting the files in many different ways to link them in the description of my videos but nothing works. I can't figure it out and don't have a Thingiverse account. Is there another way to do it other than making an account on somewhere like Thingiverse?
@@felixporter8335 I looked into that and people can extract sensitive data through the file without encrypting it so I don't want to take that risk considering all the new traffic I've been getting from around the world lately. I'll figure something out and to be honest don't really wanna see people selling my prints on Etsy either so once I decide on what I'm going to do, I'll let everyone know.
