In real life, Mid Night Club, a group that organized illegal street races in Japan decades ago, was the crossover of Initial D and Wangan Midnight, that's what also inspired, directly or indirectly, in one way or another both mangas and animes.
There's some cool Initial D reference Easter Egg. 2:05 Ryosuke's FC parked at the parking lot. 2:38 Keisuke's RE Amemiya Kit FD, Takumi's AE86 and what looks like a Project D van (?) all park together at the parking lot.
Hakone: the one and the only touge course on WMMT where 700+hp/800+hp car hit the tight mountain course. Because Akina, Akagi, Usui, Myogi, Irohazaka, etc. Are too mainstream
thats because driving at +300km/hr on highways is just plain fucking boring. you want skill, go on the touge courses and prove your skills. Initial D is so much better than Wangan. i played both and still prefer Initial D but we never got anything newer than AS4 so i played Wangan for the racing games.
@@kiralutionIn Initial D the driver needs skill and basically driving 300km/h on the highway takes minimum skill, trying to avoid traffic in the touge is harder than avoiding traffic on the highway, and in wangan, basically overtime the battles get kinda boring as the more HP you have, the more you'll win, unlike in Initial D,the more skill you have, the more you win.
@@kiralution also Ryosuke in 1st stage said that the AE86 had around 150hp which is far from stock(stock AE86:128hp)and after takumi blew and got the new engine,it went up to 220hp
LOL we have the same car, same spoiler, and same neon kit. Yea i remade Paul Walker’s Nissan Skyline GTR from the second fast and furious “2 Fast 2 Furious”
@@kiralution 🤔idk what that is, its been like 2 years since i play wmmt5 in arcadegames, because i moved to germany ,but i still play on my pc using tecknoparrot
LOL we have the same car, same spoiler, and same neon kit. Yea i remade Paul Walker’s Nissan Skyline GTR from the second fast and furious “2 Fast 2 Furious”
@@05thanaphat.89 hakone and mt. haruna are totally different areas of japan. hakone is by mt. fuji in kanagawa mt. haruna (mt. akina in initial d) is in gunma 86 miles north of hakone. you have to pass through yamanashi or tokyo and saitama to get to mt. haruna from hakone
The saddest thing of my GTR, it was towed cus the throttle was broken, now Skyline can't run again (Skyline, her name btw), now my only car was a Supra, Skyline hit 300 km/h in the abandonded airport runway, because my brother died when the car was overheated and exploded, but then during my time the GTR was my favourite, Im not gonna forget that, no matter why is it already 2019
