She's spontaneous and funny in a girl-next-door sort of way that makes people like her. She has the personality to be viewed as a superstar, something the WNBA has lacked. It blows my mind that the WNBA can't grasp that they have a player who could change the trajectory of women's basketball. Clark has done more to sell the WNBA in half a season than all these 'veteran players' have in their entire, combined careers. The WNBA players are treating her the way a player with her actions gets treated. The reason she ends up on the floor so much is because she still needs to get physically stronger. And sometimes she flops. How is Carter's hit on Clark an attempt to hurt her? It would be a typical check in hockey, and if a defensive player did that in a football game, they would get benched for a weak tackle. Yes, those guys wear pads. But they are also bigger and stronger then Carter, and typically moving a lot faster when the collision occurs.
