Sue Simmons is one of the most respected newscasters in the New York City area. She worked for WNBC-TV from 1980-2012. Before working in her native city of NYC, Sue worked at WBAL-TV, the NBC affiliate in Baltimore. After Baltimore, Sue jumped ship to WRC-TV, the NBC affiliate in Washington, DC and worked there from 1976-1980. Sue currently resides in New York City.
Tony Guida was back & forth on Chs 4 & 2 from the 70s to the 90s. He was on WNBC from 1972-81, WCBS from 1981-86, back to WNBC 1986-92, and back to WCBS from 1992-96.
This was Tony's second time at WNBC. His first time was 1972-80 when it was News Center 4 before being traded to Channel 2 (he will return to 30 Rock by '86). If you wonder about Jack Cafferty, he was traded to Fox 5 to anchor Fox News at Seven.
Yup, Tony Guida did work for WCBS-TV as well. He moved to WCBS-TV sometime after "Live at Five" was cancelled, and he was reassigned to the morning newscasts.
