My guess on mkleo’s character choice He pick Lucina and Marth In smaller tournament/ games that he can loose (e.g. winner side pre-reset) probably for the fans, and also to have fun, making the match more exciting, as well as just maintaining his marth and Lucina skill. We do see him pull out joker when a game is important, like the UFA final vs gluttony. As a Lucina secondary, I really enjoy watching his marth/ Lucina, it’s almost like art

Just wanted to point out, K9 didn't play bad at all. Hope he keeps grinding. GGs tho, love Leo's Lucina.

From Wisconsin. I love how casually the commentary is even with the GOAT of Smash in their presence. Dude literally just dances throughout the whole set while going against a rather worthy adversary. For a competitor such as myself, it's almost insane how much respect Leo has with his style of gameplay. We must understand how respected this dude is even in the highest of competitive situations.

That last game was beautiful. Leo's lucina is nice. I think next time he can beat esam with his lucy.

K9 gave up on being passive too early. I dont know if he wouldve won, but his chances were much more favorable with that playstyle. Leo capatilized haed when it came to tech situations.

I wonder why k9 didnt use wolfs up special and aim it to counter lucinas spacing. Its dumb strong, has like 3 hits and KOs at like 80%. I use it at tournaments all the time. You just have to be unpredictable with it and its amazing

I’m a noob but I’ve using Wolf a lot. When I use forward B it never acts like that. When it hits, it gives like 4% damage and the opponent barely moves. How at 6:04 Lucina got damaged so bad? Do I have to hit my enemy at a certain angle or distance? Do I have it hit it with the tip of Wolfs claws or something?

8:40 - MKLeo DID NOT HAVE A DOUBLE JUMP!! HE AIR DODGED ONTO THE STAGE!! She's a top tier character, I'm surprised these announcers can't tell the difference of how her double jump looks in comparison to her air dodge..

mkleo has held title as #1 ssbu player for almost 3 years thats crazy on average the best player within a fighting game switches alot (what they define as best is amount of games played compared to win percentage in region and consistency) street fighter has had 5 best players from 2020 to 2022. tekken has had 3 best player from 2020 to 2022. mortal combat has had 3 best players from 2020 to 2022. blazblue has had 3 best players from 2020-2022. ssbu has had 1 best player from 2020-2022 thats 1.5 players per year being best ???!!! street fighter i will excuse because 2021 was a massive year for street fighter spiking in popularity. And on average have 2 players at best per 2 years.

Okay is it me or is Leo going *really* easy on K9 the first 3 games? Compare Leo's moves game 1 to game 4 and 5. Massive difference, and I don't think it's just from being "warmed up" at that point, I think he was going easy on K9.

I fast forwarded through this vid which I rarely do with grand finals. But man is Lucina boring to watch. 0 entertainment value. From what I've seen, if Mkleo with his amazing spacing can't justify using Marth with the tipper. Then the difference isn't large enough.

Honestly, I legit don't feel like watching Leo playing anymore. Sure, his plays are interesting and he's a really good player, but it's just that he's so good it eventualy gets boring. He's almost always winning, up to the point ypu know he's gonna win even before you see him play.

I love seeing k9 lose lol. He's such an average player considering he's at tournaments every single week for like 6 years now.
